I have the same problem. I turn on the computer and get the message box "Processing Auto Configuration" blinking in the middle of my screen. I can keep using it or working on it, but it is very annoying. Whenever the message box pops up, the screen jiggles. I have tried to adjust the OSD but that doesn't seem to do anything and I cannot seem to use the Auto/Set button on the monitor or at least it doesn't seem to do anything. I have gone into troubleshooting the monitor, but get or find nothing there to help. I would appreciate a fix to this problem.

I, too, have the same problem but its even worse for me. now the settings box has nearly glued itself onto the screen and wont go away and i cant adjust it or make it go away and in trying to do so it has turned the brightness and contrast [i think thats what it is] to 0 and now i can almost barely see anything on the computer screen.

I too have been having that problem. it has gotten worse as the settings have been popping up as well and now i cant adjust the monitor settings anymore because something is wrong and i dont know how to fix it, and it now is somehow 'glued' to my screen and the brightness and contrast [i think thats what the two are] are down at 0.

Same problem. For a couple years now. I thought it was spam at first. I ran my spyware quite a bit. Then I thought it might be a virus. I ran the anti-virus software quite a bit as well. When that wouldn't work, I deleted the spyware and anti-virus and downloaded other brands. I've used so many different types of spyware and anti-virus, it's insane. So then I started playing with the buttons on my monitor. It seems that when I press the OSD button, it will sometimes make the blinking message disappear; but then at other times, it won't work at all. This is so frustrating. I don't see any postings with any solutions. Is there someone out there who can help us?

Not sure how this site is supposed to work, but yeah - why have a help board if there's no one helping?

I've been having the same problem. I've also been having problems with screen flicker, though... Both happen every few days. From what I've read elsewhere, it's time for a new monitor. But I don't want a new monitor. Is there anyone who knows what else the problem could be??

It solved by fixing 1024X786 pixel solution.if it not possible by fixing it..
Then look over the VGA driver is correctly support or not
if not then you have to update the VGA (Display) by drivers

I've tried all ideas by removing this ,,processing auto image adjustment'", but all of them was not working. So, i found truly and simple solution: The problem is made of constant autoself incorrect working button ,,Auto/set". This button is near ,Turn off/on monitor". Eventually you need to turn off this button, but there is no solution to do it, but i found one - i used hair clipper to press this button PERMANENTLY. And it WORKED, and also no screen buttons are working

Why do you keep selecting auto configuration? You have the option of manual configuration, don't you? That is there in case the auto does not provide the results you want. So just set it manually to however bright you want.If it just will not go as bright as you would like, the remaining possibilities are aging backlight, inverter, or powerstrip capacitors which are all within your display.most re[pair shops will not even attempty a reiar of an LCD display, and if it turns out yours is deteriorating, you need to think about a new one. Unfortunately the problem with LCD monitors is that they just don't have anywhere near the life of a CRT.

Processing auto configuration keeps coming up on

First check to see that all of the cables are connected and fastened in tightly between the monitor and computer using the tiny handscrews on them at the monitor side and on the video card where it connects to your computer.

Also, the resolution detection circuitry in the monitor could be going bad, or you could have a bad video cable connecting it to the computer, or lastly, the video card in your computer could be going bad.

A few separate things you can try:

1. If you have a spare video cable, connect using the spare cable to the monitor and the computer to see if this corrects the issue.

2. If you have another monitor, I would connect it to see if you continue to have video issues.

3. Consider buying a new monitor.

I hope I am understanding your problem correctly. If not pls. explain what you mean by and when processing auto config. keeps flashing. Is there a black screen or a windows interface?
