Re: Mitsubishi WD 73827 Will not turn on

Does the LED blink a two digit code. This set has 2 1000uf @16V capacitors on the PWB that will cause this symptom . Let me know if you need further assistance, there are also 4 1000uf @ 35V on the DM and 3 1000uf@16v on the FMT that will cause all kinds of problems if you change the PWB capacitors I would change the ones on the other boards

Lets try an error code operational checl. Unplug the tv and plug it back in. With the standby LED on press and hold the MENU and DEVICE/INPUT buttons for 5 seconds. The LED will flash a certain number of times pause for a while and blink again. Count the blinks before and after the pass, then post it here so that I can tell you what the problem is

I wanted to know how to reboot or restart the TV

With the Mitsubishi remote, press menu then 2-4-7-0 all within 5 seconds. The first option will be initialize. Press enter on the remote and the TV will reset to factory defaults. If you customized any input names or favorite channels, write them down, they will likely change when executing this reset.

Mitsubishi wd 65737, tv gets to the welcome screen then turns off. What is the problem?

Try unplugging the power cord for 60 seconds and plugging it back in. We had the same problem and that worked the first time we tried it. The problem is back and, after some frustration, the manufacturer recommend updating the software. Contact your local Mitsubishi service rep. to obtain updated software and instructions. Good luck!
