Cause of your capacitors blow is power failure. Check Power Adapter in multi-tester to see the voltage acquired.

As long as you have a good power source from the mains, all will be fine but ensure your firewall is allowing the upgrade!

Where are the jumper (pins) on a KONA-SVT motherboard?

Sorry don't now where jumper is for this model. However, most jumpers are located not too far from the bios battery. If you still can't find the jumper try disconnecting the power source from the motherboard, remove the bios battery, then press the power switch to dissipate the capacitors. Wait 5 minutes then re-insert the bios battery and reconnect power to the motherboard. You should now be prompted by the bios to set the time when you start the computer. Good luck

Have a Lenovo USFF 7479 Build and can not find display drivers for Linux Zorin 9 Ultimate as only Windows display drivers are available.

Then you have to go back to the distributors of this Linux distribution and list the drivers for the items you need.

Linux drivers are open source programs, so the drivers from one computer can be complied into another distribution, if they use the same chips.

The manufacturers such as Lenovo rely on third parties to provide any software that they do not support, they do not have to write them.

How do i fix my lenovo desktop power problem ?

Have you checked for dirt in the fans? You can use compressed air or a air compressor to blow the fans and the power supply clean when the computer is turned off.

Dear Sir I forgot bios password in lenovo g430. Computer is start. i want to fomatte pc at that time passowrd is ask i foget it so waht to do.

Disconnect all power sources, including the battery. Open the laptop and remove the CMOS battery (the little round silver thing). Hold the power button to drain any residual charge for 10 seconds. Boot the computer without the CMOS battery inserted. it should say password disabled. Reassemble the computer and you're done!

Lenovo R61 Dead

The power supply in most computers has a fuse, either internal or external, that can blow without you noticing. Basically, you've been on battery operation this whole time, and the battery's finally gone dead.
It will be necessary to open the case and examine the power supply section. It may be possible to replace the fuse yourself, but any operation of this nature that involves opening the case will void any warranty you may have.

The unit turns on but the fan won't blow. Is it the fan motor?

hi! there,
well,if you think the unit turns as well as the compressor is running,no blowing of air, blower and fans are coupled at this type, if you hear hamming of blower fan,the capacitor is not working or theres no supply source on starting circuit.check capacitor disconnecting it besure switch breaker is off ,check performance using multitester,on resistance attached test rod to the two terminal of capacitor and tester set to 100k,if tester pointer deflect, then reverse the polarity of tester if deflect and sudden the pointer going back to original position, capacitor is good.if not go back the capacitor is busted,if not deflect its also defective.replace capacitor, have a nice day

I have a 60 year old Husqvarna Automatic 21.. The capacitator on it blew up.. The machine was brilliant .. Did everything any modern machine can do.. I think it was one of the first electric ones ...

if the capacitor is still legible, it is a simple task to unsolder the old capacitor, read the label and source and solder in a new capacitor. Capacitors do blow once in a while...

An electronics repair shop should not charge more than $10 or $15 to replace it if you are not up to the task of soldering...
