Fuse roller not spinning and paper ends up on the conveyer, could it be that a power problem?

    what brand and model copier? if the fuser is not turning and you are geting accordian jams in the fuser then the fuser drive gear could be stripped.

    Could be a couple of things, bad fuser motor, no power to motor, etc, most common, broken fuser drive gear

Nope, the fuser not spinning is a busted gear.. The whole fuser will need to be replaces I'm afraid, it's a unit..

HP Pro 8500 printer will not feed paper keep getting "load paper" error even though paper in tray; found small white "gear" in tray.

If the gear is broken, you most likely need to replace the pick up roller which is extremely hard or almost impossible. You may try to see if the error is really with the broken gear, or you if you just have a dusty roller that picks up paper by checking if the rollers is actually spinning when it is trying to pick up the paper.
To see what the issue is with gear or roller, try the following:
1. Remove the output paper tray and paper from the loading tray.
2. Send a copy job or print job through.
3. have a flashlight to shine light on the pick up roller and se if it spins. Try touching with your hand to be sure.
4. If the roller spins, put some alcohol on a cloth or paper towel and clean the rubber rollers.
5. Wait a few minutes, load paper and try sending copy job again.
If the roller is not spinning, then you have a problem with gears for sure.

Error code SC18-60 on c500

Fuser temperature sensor malfunction, giving an abnormal low temperature. Usually related to pushing heavy stock through machine without adjusting copier to compensate via paper type and weight settings.
Go into 25 Mode. To do so, turn off main power switch (behind door), press both the 2 and 5 keys together and hold them while turning the main power switch back on. Keep holding the keys. Eventually you will be presented with the service mode 25 tech screen.
Select "Software SW" from the menu. You will be presented with a set of controls. Two controls on the left set the switch type and bit level. The setting on the right turns on(1) or off(0) the bit selected.
In this case, go to switch 3-1 and set it to Off(0) to disable the latch. Turn off the main power switch and wait a few seconds and then turn it on again.
Check your paper type settings before proceeding with your job that originally caused this issue.

Toner not stuck well on paper and can be easely erased by hand

Sounds like you have bad toner. or fusing area not getting hot enough to fuse to paper. I would try another toner cartridge. If problem goes away. Bad cartridge.

Second copy is crumpled

You need to isolated a problem.Verify the vertical conveyance feed and clean the feed rollers,verify the fusing unit and a duplex unit,and verify the exit unit.Stop the copy process before the paper enter in the fusing unit,and verify if the paper is crumpled or not.If is crumpled verify the paper tray rollers(casette feed rollers,vertical transport rollers).If not crumpled stop the proces after a half copy is out on the fusing unit.If crumpled change or clean the upper and lower fuser roller and the lower roller cleaning roller(aluminium roller)in the fusing unit.

Have an HP LaserJet 6L. Just got through replacing all the rollers inside. Can get it to grudgingly print one sheet, then no printing after that one sheet, it often just grips the paper, but won't...

You need to make sure that you have the clutch that the solenoid interacts with seated properly. I had a tech once manage to get the clutch on at 180 degrees from correct alignment, not sure how he did it, but the printer would not print. It is possible if you are not paying attention to mount the pickup roller in the wrong position which will lead to feed problems. You need to make sure that the highest point on the roller is touching the paper when at the right time.

Hi, I have a C6500 Bizhub pro, but, recently displays an C3102 error. I need to print an urgent job and y can't! Please helpme!

The fuser exit rollers are the light grey painted rollers on the exit of the fuser itself. There is a slider mechanism that when slid forward or towards the rear, will adjust the pinch of the roller. Primarily it is there to deal with what is called a waxing effect where the rollers physically leave an impression in the soft toner on thick stocks. Reducing the pinch for thick stock reduces this. However, when doing thin stock, especially letter size paper, jamming can occur if the pinch is not engaged since there is no physical contact to drive the paper to the next conveyance rollers when doing duplex or face down printing.

The slider can be found on the left side door of the fusing unit itself, near the front. Normal operation is in the middle.

Replacing the CDB is just one of many troubleshooting steps, it is not the end all to this.

The 3102 code you encountered has nothing to do with temperature and humidity. It is a code related to the failure of the fuser conveyance. Gamma correction is also unrelated because gamma correction is image related, not conveyance related.

I highly suspect that you are encountering this code because of some kind of failure related to the fusing unit itself, again related to the movement of the fuser, which usually is in motion during many test modes of the main body components. Check all the connectors to ensure they are seated properly. The previous document relates to what to check and replace related specifically to fuser pressure roller.

We do not leave fusers at the customers either. We have spares at the shop that we rebuild during slow periods. This is simply our own initiative, not the norm, and is also a part of our troubleshooting regarding fusing unit related errors that are not so is part of the elimination process, as some fuser related codes can be caused in other areas, such as the CDB, a bad conveyance clutch or motor or simply timing adjustments that are out of the normal range.

1.One of the gears in the fusing unit gearboxfails. The shaft for fusing unit gear/H has been changed so that it is now supported at both ends instead of just
one end. The gear is now made of a stronger material.
The new design has been incorporated into all bizhub PRO C6500 machines beginning with s/n A03U0000787. A replacement gearbox is available for
machines with lower serial numbers. For the machines with serial numbers between A03U010000788 and A03U010001446 the fuser gearbox is already
updated and only fusing gear /H (p/n A03U808811) needs to be replaced.

2. The machine cannot determine the separation cam home position.
Check the following items PS16 (p/n 08AA 8551 2) and Release Actuator flag (p/n A03U 7244 00). Make sure when the fuser jam release green knob is
turned counterclockwise, the Release Actuator flag (p/n A03U 7244 00) blocks and unblocks PS16/PS17. Check to see if the sensor is disconnected. If
turning the Fuser Jam removal Knob does not change the position of the Release Actuator flag, then check the drive gears associated withM30 (p/n 27LA
8003 0) for broken or stripped drive gears andreplace them if damaged.
3. A one-way gear (p/n A03U 8093 00) is slipping in the fixing drive assembly.
Replace the (3) fixing drive gears with the modifiedFixing Drive Gear/M 22T (p/n A03U 8093 11) andthe fixing drive shaft/A (p/n A03U725800).

I cannot Fax multple pages otherwise the machine jams. I need to feed 1 page at a time which is not ideal. Is there a way to overcome this?

Paper jam usually happens due to dirty or in some cases worn out paper pick up roller. I think, cleaning the pickup roller would fix the issue. Remove the paper input tray. Open the top cover (ADF) by pulling it from the back (where the paper goes) towards the front to open the scanner as indicated below

Inspect for any tron peices of paper dirt etc. Locate the rollers and clean them with a soft, damp, lint-free cloth. Also, you may clean the Sheet-fed scanner (Mirror and white platten) for better copy/ scan results with a dry cloth. DONT USE PAPER, CHEMICALS OR ANY ABRASIVE CLOTH as it may damage the parts.

I strongly recommend a service tech. It sounds like you will need a PM kit,fuser claws and a few DFP rollers.

Back cover won't shut on 3000cn

There is a guide just at the pick up roller that can fall out of position.
Pop off the back cover (the hinges are spring loaded). There are 4/6 screws holding the paper conveying section, remove these and teh conveying section should just slide out. Disconnect the cables on the lower RHS. There should now be a whitish plastic guide with sponges on it visible. Stand it upright placing the guide behind the frame of the machine, use a prop to keep them in place, something placed into the paper traay section. then re-fit everything.
