Problem for IBM ThinkPad T41 PC Notebook

I have T41 and was able to connect to wireless

I have T41 and was able to connect to wireless internate with no Issue. I was trying to update the Access connection to newer version but because of that now I am not able to get IP on the wireless internet. It show that I am connected to the router with excellent signal but no IP is given. I know router is working because my other wireless devices are able to get Ip and connect to internet. I have tried to roll back the acces connection to previous version, also try to re-install the driver but all no luck. I notice also my shortcut key (Fn+F4) is not functioning.

- Thanks for the feedback. perhaps I did not make it clear that my I have been using the T41 for over 5 yrs with no issue and only now due to the fact I was trying to update the access connection. (No change to the wireless driver).

The T40 series model has several different types of wireless. It is most likely the wrong wireless card driver was installed. Download all the wireless card drivers and install one at a time until you get the right driver.

Go to the IBM/Lenovo WEB site - support/download page and download the latest Windows XP or Vista device drivers for your model computer, Use this link :-
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/product.do?template=%2Fproductselection%2Flandingpages%2FbrowseByProductLandingPage.vm&sitestyle=lenovo&brandind=10&validate=true
You can download the various drivers and then you click on and run the various driver files, they will then unzip and expand into a folder on C:\drivers Then install the various drivers from this folder.
