Panasonic SA-HT930 "INIT" Message

I'm having problems with the display. An "INIT" message is diplayed in the main unit screen, I have followed the steps from the troubleshoot instruction in the owner's manual and have not succeeded. Any advice?
Thank you for your help.

Re: Panasonic SA-HT930 "INIT" Message

Same problem. It appears to be a memory issue, the INIT error often arrives when many buttons are hit on the remote controller at one time, similar to a computers memory running slowly when either overloaded or the chip dying. My guess, and its just my guess, is that since i am not hitting multiple button which would confuse the unit, a memory chip in the unit is burning out and this is signal #1 to get it replaced before it takes everything else out with it.

My panasonic sa ht930 volume when you give me presents on the screen and I f6 1 off

F61 is an error code.
It will automatically shuts down your unit.
This is very common on your unit.

Try to checked if the fan is working or not.
I have repaired some unit before, this is the caused why f61 appeared.
The symptom is shutting down the unit after a few minute.
If the fan is not working it will shuts off automatically to avoid further damaged to your output I.C. from overheating.

If confirmed that the fan is working then I've suspect that your output I.C. is shorted.
This is quit technical and need to send to repair shop to isolate the faulty parts.
The output IC of your unit is RSN series and quite expensive.

Pls rate my help.

I have a panasonic dvd home theater sound system SA-HT930, and the dvd player, is broke can do nothing with it, need a new one but the plug between the ampli and the dvd wont fit on any new dvd theater...

Believe it or not there is a seller on eBay who offers a one-price fixit solution for your unit for $100.

That aside, these types of systems are designed as a package to be used as a unit. Otherwise they might have standard connectors. Another closely-related Panasonic SA-HT system might work for you but I doubt anyone manufactures anyhting to adapt non-standard speakers to standard electronics.

They actually say on page 9 of the manual:

"Use only supplied speakers
Using other speakers can damage the unit, and sound quality will
be negatively affected.

I would interpret that to mean 'use these speakers only with similar Panasonic electronics'.

Unit comes on with message "INTI" in led screen

I wasn't able to find that nomenclature "INTI" in the manual. I did find Panasonic's Customer service # 1-800-211-7262 It will take 10-15 minutes to get a live body on the phone, so if you've got spkr phone turn it on while you wait. I will keep looking for any reference to this issue and if I can find it, I will post it. Hope this is a little help
