Able to pair but not connect w/ BT trvl mouse/Dell 1525

I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop and recently purchased a Dell BT travel mouse. I was getting a "Error: Unable to load BTT stack service" after I suspect installing Service pack 2 in June. I did a little research online with some forums and found an updated drivers as well as removing a line of data that apparently affected the Bluetooth service. I am no longer getting the error message and the mouse worked for all of two days. I went and did some driver upgrades from Dell and now the mouse does not work. I have tried everything, uninstall BT and re install several times, new batteries, ect... after a 3 hour phone call to Dell i got swithced to the "software" dept nly to find out they will charge me $129 bucaks to "fix" the problem and cannot gaurantee if they can! Can someone help me out?? I really DO NOT want to reinstall the OS!
Thanks!
LJ

Did you shut down firewall and or allow it threw your firewall...Check this===.rick click computer, left click propertys.click device manager.look see if u see any yellow question marks there.if so needs updating..i would try a system restore back to before you did these updates which apparently have affected your mouse..if u did not create restore points then your pretty much gonna have to do a redo of OS. YOU HAVE GOTTEN BAD UPDATES THAT ARE AFFECTING YOUR PC..my advice to everyone is to always first thing make back up disk, make restore points at least twice a week.back up back up people this all saves so much trouble..

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Driver for Dell BT Travel Mouse

If it is a dell mouse, it should automatically work after a few things. Simply locate the button on your mouse to power it on, open your bluetooth settings on your computer and scan. It will then add the drivers as a HID (human interface device). If that fails go to dell.com, search for drivers & downloads under support and search for the drivers & documentation.

How to connect blue tooth mouse to dell inspirom 1520

Hold on... are you sure that you have a bluetooth mouse or do you have a wireless mouse with "pen drive" like dongle? If it is with a dongle, it probably is a common wireless mouse which operates on its own wireless frequecy. You may have a driver CD that comes with the mouse or it simply works "plug and play". However, there are bluetooth mouse too, in this case you just need to turn on your bluetooth on the PC and pair the mouse with your PC just like any other bluetooth device. In either case, a LAN card in not involved. Hope this helps.
