Verizon wireless chocolate

I just bought a verizon lg chocolate vx8500 on ebay, it is brand new. when we turned it on it just scrolls unconrollably and clicks and says additional programming is needed. verizon said the phone is defective. do you know anything about this problem?

Best to buy a new phone...you can try and take it to a mobile service center and see if reflashing it would correct it

Yes that has happen to my lg dare! it has to be flashed again! take it to a local verizon store and ask them can you flash you phone, it should be free of charge!
it make take 30 mins or so, but after that you should be on your way back to texting!!! lol 8-)

Locked white chocolate phone-can't unlock it.
try taking out the battery, then put it back in and turn it on...if that doesnt work just call verizon.

Nope.

Verizon wireless phones do not support GSM therefore if you try and "unlock it" for say .. T mobile .. It's going to get you NOWHERE :)

Uh .. LG 8500's were only issued for Verizon wireless. Therefore Cricket may not run as it's provider. Have you called Cricket to ask if this phone is a phone they can offer service to??
