R4i: after loading screen, it freezes white! help?

A loading screen freeze usually means that there's the wrong version of the software installed. You have to make sure it was made for your specific model of R4, and there are a few out there.

The R4i Neo is a fairly unique clone, but unfortunately it's not a good one. Once you track down the correct software try it again. If it still doesn't work, then you might be better off investing in a better card like the iEdge .

I have the exact same problem except it was me who dumbly clicked on the update firmware file. I'm thinking the problem has something to do with the firmware on the actual card.

The Hyper R4i is a fairly unreliable clone, it might have reached the end of its life unfortunately.

When this error occurs it means that 99% of the time you have either, downloaded the wrong software(System files) or you have installed them incorrectly. When you are looking for the system files you must use the one supplied by your particular variant of DS card. (There are many R4i cards out there and they all have their own software and none will work in the other :S) On the DS card itself look for a web address - go there and look for the latest kernel version. Make sure you unzip it to your micro sdcard, and that all the files are in the root of the card (and not in a sub folder)

Go to linfoxdomain, and check that you have the right software for the r4i gold, thats the only thing that can be wrong with r4i gold if you have loaded the games right, have you unzipped all the games, if you have done all that right it must be the card,

to upgrade your nds firmware then it will work

Pokemon White wont play on my dslite but al other games work. when is start up pokemon white both screens turn blank and the only thing that works to get this screens away is tto turn off the ds.

You might need to copy over the R4i firmware again. Download the firmware for your R4i here and see if that helps

could be bent pins inside the slot1 of the dsi , so it is not making the right connection with r4i chip

But they might not have your exact card model's software. If you check the packaging of your flash card there should be a manufacturer's website on it that will have the latest official software for your particular flash card. Or you can check the list of R4 card types here for their manufacturer's websites http://www.r4dsrevolution.co.uk
