Remove the battery and remove the power adaptor ... press and hold the power button in the ON position and count to 20.
attach the AC adaptor only and press the power button ...this should fix the issue ... then re connect the battery.
if this does not work then add a external monitor .. if it lights up then hit the
Fn + F5 keys

Fn + This hot key cycles through the power-on
display mode options.
The display mode options are:
Built-in display panel only, Built-in display panel and
external monitor simultaneously, External monitor only.
Fn + This hot key cycles through the power-on display options.

You can try my last post again but this time remove all devices (DVD,external Mouseetc... ) if that fails you could be looking at 2 things . try adding only the battery instead of the adaptor as well
1 - the power switch is stuck or not making contact or
2- the dc power inverter is defective ...
Ill see if there is anything else this could be in the meantime

it still can not power up.
when i plug the ac adapter to my laptop and switch ON the power supply. Then i saw all the signal light(battery signal, DVD sigal, etc..) ON directly.
but when i press the power button at my laptop, it not response and i did not heard any sound from the processor fan there.
i had try out ur solution, but it not working.
i hope u can help me figure out the problem just now i face. thanks you.
