Also, look in the main menu at Actions>Junk E-mail>Junk E-mail Options and check what level you are filtering at. Try High. You may have to tweek a few senders and add them to the Safe list.

There are a number of ways to go about this. If you would like to control it with just the built in Outlook tools, you can click on Tools, Options, and under the Mail Preferences section you'll find a Junk Email button. This will allow you to control spam by either directing it to the SPAM folder or deleting it altogether.

If you would like more control, many anti-virus applications (Symantec, Avast!, AVG, etc.) have spam filters built into them. The first application has a fee, but Avast and AVG are free. Both provide decent coverage. Please keep in mind that no application can stop 100% of spam (thought to account for 85-92% of all email sent over the internet.

It says office application version does not match every time I open my documents.

When opening a Microsoft Office program or file you may get a message that says “Office Application Version Does Not Match Error”. This is most likely caused by having the Outlook 2007 Business Contact Manager installed on your computer. Many computers that come with the Office trial program installed will have this on their computer from when it was new.

There are a couple of ways to get rid of this error. First you can install the update from Microsoft that gets rid of the error.

Or you can go into Add and Remove Programs (XP) or Programs and Features (Vista) and uninstall the Outlook 2007 Business Contact Manager if you don ’t use it. It won’t affect any of your Office programs. You may get a message during the uninstall process that it can’t remove it from your Outlook profile but just click Ok and finish the uninstall.

Bit of an odd one this error message. It is issued when you start Microsoft Word 2007 (or indeed Excel 2007, PowerPoint 2007 or Publisher 2007) on a computer that has Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager installed. You can download a a patch that will stop this error message appearing here.

Hope this will solve your problem

Recover personal email on my spam list

You need to open the spam box and find the email. Once you find it, right click on it, go to junk email, and select "add user to accepted senders list."

These instructions are for outlook 2003 / 2007 but all other programs should be very similar in the way this is fixed.
