Question about Sony Bravia KDL46V4000 46 in. LCD TV
Check a different input and all the connections to the TV to see if they are secure. After doing so and you still are getting no audio from all inputs then it means the audio processor failed. It was most likely caused by a power surge when the power went back on. This is fixed by replacing the main board. It is usually called a BU or AU board on Sony LCDs. Can be prevented in the future with a good surge protector or clean power surge filter.
