Question about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-P92 Digital Camera
I looked for a solution in the manual available with the camera ; it says "A problem with the lense caused an error" BUT NO CERTAIN SOLUTION IS INDICATED.
Can you help me?
This falls in the area of warnings not errors. When you cycle the power (turn off the power and turn it back on) does the lens move properly? Do you hear any clicking?

I'm sorry that the Camera
is displaying the error message. "TURN THE POWER OFF AND ON AGAIN"
displays on the LCD screen when the Lens Mechanism is stuck or when affected by
any malfunction. If turning the power on and off again does not resolve the
error message, try doing a power reset. Please follow the below steps to
perform a power reset.
Turn off the camera.
Remove the battery pack.
Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
Allow the camera to remain without power for 60 seconds.
Reinsert the battery pack.
Turn on the camera.
Also tryinitializing the Cameraif you're able to access the Menu items on the Camera. The Initialize option will be available under Setup or Main settingsSub Menus.
If the issue persists again, service is required. Please click hear to locate the service center near your area.
Thanks for understanding. Please let me know if your require any clarifications.
