Innovage lcd, talking caller ID phone, can't program it even with the manual

I bought 1 of these and they both do this.
I set up the battery and land line, then I read and re-read the programming part for the date, time, and 12/24 time swtich. I can't get anything to change on it and it's stuck on 1.1.2005 I think I don't even see a year displayed just flashed when screen comes on and you can only program when you see the xcreen when the receiver is open, HELP!

You have to Press the Set button and then when Set 1 Date appears you have to watch very carefully where the
"blinking" is happening and then use the Up or Down button to make the setting. After each number change press "Set" and the blinking will move to the next value. Continue the steps until all dates and times are set.

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

How do I enter the date & time on a handset. The instructions list: (MENU)#101. The line 2 :enter the current Month, date & year. Do I enter #101. Hw do I get there

Press the Menu button on the handset of the cordless phone when every handset (and the base) are in standby. Next look at the keypad and press the # key (below 9), then press 1. Press 0 and then press 1 again. Now, type in the month, date and year in the appropriate format. You will see a prompt for the information; use 2 digits for month and date (01 and 05 for example). You can also look at the menu and sub-menu lines and highlight the various items with the up/down arrows and press Select in between. (Press Menu. Then you would highlight Settings, Set Date/Time, Set Date.)

Since you didn't give the make & model of your phone, the menu item titles may be different. If you need more information, please add a comment with the specific information about your phone.

I hope this helps.

HOW TO REPLACE THE ONBORD battery

If you want ..you can boot up with a flat battery ..but you will have to set the time and date each single time you do it ..and it will never hold any settings or file associations for programs..To change the battery is simple ..It has a round flat battery on the motherboard..and you have to locate it ..and change it ..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4fDSQap2Qo
this video will make you an idea about how it looks like and how to remove it ..It has a safety system and need to be pressed aside..and will jump out ..
The battery itself can be bought from any computer store ..and it sis very cheap .
You should pay attention when you change it ..cause usually these batteries do not go flat for no reason ..but unless you leave your computer unused for a long time ..otherwise it recharges and works for years..
What I mean is that the battery itself may not be flat ..but a contact issue ..or so ..and is discharging it ..
Anyway after you replace it ..just restart ..it will ask you to press F 1 to go and set the date and time ..and you can do it..or just set the time and date in windows later..but ..you still have to press that key it asks ..and go to bios ..and in there either set the time or just press F10 to save the changes and go on with the windows boot..(pressing f10 is needed so it will recognize the time being selected..If you just save settings but not select the time and date ..do it right the way in bios cause some programs will not work without it ..)
have a nice day ..and please don't forget to rate my answer..

LANGUAGE SETTING JAPANESE TO ENGLISH

Hello analyn
There may be a simple fix to this problem.
Find a friend that has a cybershot of the same model as your own. In their camera, open the menu and navigate to the language setting. While you do this count how many times you press the button. Example:
Menu
-camera settings 1
-program 2
-personal settings 3 press ok

personal settings
-storage type 1
-date and time 2
-language 3 press ok

language
-spanish 1
-english 2 press ok
-japanese

Although the language is different, the number of spaces should be the same, so even though you can't read it to change the language, you should be able to count it out. Or if you are lucky you may have a Japanese friend who can read it.

Hope this helps

Our 5.8gh uniden phones all have static one land phone 3 extension.

disconnect the ac adapter from the base - before you plug the phone back in with power - press and hold down the menu button (center silver button under the led display) and the number "1" and then plug it back in - keep holding those two buttons until the date and time reappears - it worked for me and it didnt erase the phone numbers stored in the base unit.

How to change the time on screen

generic for all phones... the standard way to change the time and show it on screen is simply going to the settings and look for time settings... in here, you can actually change the time, the date , and the year and you can also change the time format form 12 hour to 24 hour.

I have a panasonic KX-T7730 and through trial and error i have found out how to change the time.
Press Program. PITS-PGM N)? should come up on the screen.
Then press O
This should give a list of digits on the screen.
The first 6 digits is the current date in yrmmdd format.
Then there is a space and a single number. I represents monday 2 represents tuesday 3 represents wednesday and so on.
The next set of numbers is the current time in 12 hour format.
The last number is either 0 for am or 1 for pm.
Press auto dial/store when you have entered all the relevant numbers to save.
For example to set 3pm today you would type 090406 1 03:00 1
