It comes from the fan delay. I would think it's bad from what your telling me. It is either that or the microprocessor It has a 1 year factory warranty.
The fan delay controls function upon termination of a defrost cycle is two-fold. First, to prevent blowing warm air into the food storage area. Second, to prevent any condensation on the defrost coil from being blown into the food storage area. The microprocessor control is set from the factory to terminate defrost at 20 minutes in the event of a sen- sor failure. This setting should never be tampered with, without first consulting the factoryIf you would like more info you can call Traulsen Service at (800) 825-8220. If you can give me a model number, I'll be glad to try to help you more but if you need a wiring diagram, you will have to call company service at the 800 #. .

Give the evaporator a chance to get cold, then check you've got power to the fan, via the evaporator thermistor and door switch

I have a True Cooler GDM-35SL-RF. the fans are not working but the compressor is. What can I do to fix this and where on the cooler would I find the problem?

They have a support line here:
http://www.truemfg.com/24HourTech_en.aspx?language_id=1&event_id=401&from=food

Our Technical Service department is available via Internet or phone
Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM CST and on Saturday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM CST.

Via phone please call 1-800-325-6152 and ask for the Service Department

You can also use the page to ask any questions. I suspect you have a fan relay that has failed as the fans should be running anytime the compressor is running. Since all of the fans are not running that leads me to think it is a relay problem.

One thing to need to make sure is to verify that all fans.. condenser (bottom of the unit) and evaporator (inside the unit) fans are not running. If the condenser fan bottom of the unit is running and the evaportar fans are not running it could be something as simple as a door switch that has failed. Call them during business hours and I am sure they will tell you what the remedy is.... and of course.. do their very best to ensure they get to send a repair tech your way.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

Clicking noise in the circuit board and everything in the freezer is thawed

Hi. this will be a failed relay on that circuit board. This is called the PCB(main unit power control board). This board controls the compressor relay functions, and the compressor power current, as well. The evaporator fan, and condenser fan, receives their respective current from this power control board, also. When a circuit board of this nature begins to malfunction, it will cause the unit to not cool properly, due to limited, or no fan actions, or a failed compressor cycle. I would recommend to replace this damaged control board, asap.

My slush machine wont freeze

the first thing i would check depending on your make and model is ensure the compressor is running
if not check the overload and relay pluged in on the side for continuity
then make sure your cooling fans are working
this should be a good first step but let me know
if not let me know the make model and ill take a look at the scematic

Evaporator fans have no power from the relay module

Make sure there is power to the relay. If you have power to the relay but no power coming out the relay needs replaced.

sounds like an issue witrh the microprocessor to me as well, although you tried bypassing it it still didnt work its quite possible that the fan aand compressor are runnig on different voltagfe the 110v , new energy effient compressors are starting to run w/ 220, an inverter built into the circuit board could be steppin up power,
