use a usb cable or a card reader both are mac compatible, may be a dongle will also help, go online and down load the software for mac, restart before another attempt, you may also restart the computer with you camera on and connected to to the computer by usb

Can't get pictures downloaded from a Vivitar, ViviCam S130

Sounds like a MAC driver problem. If the camera came with a CD or DVD try installing it on your MAC to see if that cures the problem.

I am trying to transfer pictures from my Cannon EOS Rebel T1i to my Mac book and I can't get it to work

When you connect the camera to the Mac, you must have the camera powered ON. THe Mac will automatically recognize the camera and will open iTunes to download the pictures. IF this does not happen, you may have a bad cable or a bad USB port on the Macbook. Try a different cable, or try a different port. Good Luck.

I got a new mac and I tried to download the pictures from my canon SD360 camera, like a used to do in my old computer mac as well, I download the software Kodak EasyShare that I used in my old computer,...

The old software may not be compatible with the new operating system in your new mac. You could always use a separate card reader to download your without special software.

Cant upload photos to mac from s1500 fujifilm camera

In Spotlight, find Image Capture. This will recognize the camera and allow you to download the pictures off the camera.

Mac won't recognise canon drive

First of all, do not save any new file to camera's memory card.

Take out memory card, and connect it to a Windows computer using a card reader. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in Windows Explorer.
Download this camera photo recovery software
Install and open the photo recovery software, select the memory card, and click 'Start' button.

Card not initialised

It looks like your Mac is writing data back to the card while connected. The camera tries to access the images, but sees the Mac file, and doesn't know what to do. Try accessing the images on the Mac while the camera is connected. If you see files that are not the camera's files or folders, delete them. Don't delete your image files and folders, however.

Hi there,

If you're a MAC user, you could still download pictures from your camera to PC.

No need for you to install any CD software because your camera will be recognized automatically as a removable disk.

Just try to make sure that you'll be using the USB cable supplied in the package and your PC does have good working USB ports.

For transferring pictures with OS (MAC):
- Turn off camera
- Plug USB cable to camera and PC
- Turn on camera
- Connect to computer or printer will come out on camera screen
- Select the desired one
- Press MENU/OK
- "New Hardware Found" will be seen on the right lower corner
- A window will pop out with various options
- Example: "Open to View Files", "Copt to a folder"...

* If nothing like those mentioned above happened,

Double check through Computer Devices with Removable storage:
- Look for DCIM folder in any of the Removable storage
- Select 100sscam folder inside DCIM folder
- Upon opening, all pictures will be viewed

Make sure to check your MAC System for the following:
- Power Mac G3 or later
- Mac OS 9.2~10.3
- Minimum 64MB RAM
- 110MB of available hard-disk space
