yes there is power to the module

the compressor works, everything else seems to work, the fans just don't turn on. It was a block of ice, defrosted, and power was applied to the fans to ensure they would run- which they did. The rely has no power from the particular pin for the fans

the conderser fan has no power from the relay module. there is power to the unit, the compressor is working. i put power to the fans to see if they work and they do. there is just no power from the relay- what keeps the relay from allowing that?

You have to troubleshoot the circuit with a voltmeter. Is there power to the relay? Is the component that brings the relay in working?

Make sure there is power to the relay. If you have power to the relay but no power coming out the relay needs replaced.

Commercial fan on evaporator cuts off after starting

There is an overheat klixon on the evaporator that stops the fan running until the coil gets below -11c This can take some time after startup. if the freezer runs more than an hour before the fan starting, check the klixon isn't faulty, and you have power to the fan. Also check the condenser grille is nice and clean as it will slow down the freezing process.

Delay on evap. fan sistm.404a

Give the evaporator a chance to get cold, then check you've got power to the fan, via the evaporator thermistor and door switch

My freezer has power, but the fans are not going on when the door shuts and the temperature is rising.

The defrost termination/ fan delay control is a temperature-activated, single pole-double throw switch. ).
The control is wired into the refrigeration circuit. The control is located high on the evaporator where the frost is likely to clear last. The function of this temperature-activated switch is to terminate defrost when the evaporator coil has been defrosted, and to delay the evaporator fans from coming on immediately after defrost.
The coil must reach a temperature of 25* F. for the fan delay to close allowing the fans to operate.bobicehouse_38.jpg

The fan has a limit control wired in series that shuts the fan down until the coil temperature reaches 25*F. this prevents the fan from blowing warm around after defrost.
There is also a switch which is placed for the door to close. Either one may be defective.
Worst case is the freezer is not pulling down temperature wise.

Is the evaporator fan suspose to be pulling air from inside the freezer over the evaporator or pushing air from the evaporator?

The evaporator fan should be pulling air from the freezer over the evaporator and directing the air down into the frig and circulating through out the freezer.
Hope this helps.

Clicking noise in the circuit board and everything in the freezer is thawed

Hi. this will be a failed relay on that circuit board. This is called the PCB(main unit power control board). This board controls the compressor relay functions, and the compressor power current, as well. The evaporator fan, and condenser fan, receives their respective current from this power control board, also. When a circuit board of this nature begins to malfunction, it will cause the unit to not cool properly, due to limited, or no fan actions, or a failed compressor cycle. I would recommend to replace this damaged control board, asap.

The 2 fans are not working but the freezer coils are freezing up won;t go below 20 degrees

the freezing is and temp are caused by the fans not working. One fan pulls warm air out of the box and across the evaporator coil, which in your case is frozen, and the other fan is used to pull air over the condensing coil which rejects the heat pulled out of the box. check the wiring diagram for a fan relay first, which can easily be changed out, or by some crazy chance, both fans quite working at the same time
