Amica oven door gets so hot that my child has burnt hes hands and needed medical attention

Amica is a European brand, I recommend you contact the company headquarters or a competant local repair shop. Any oven left at a very high temperature for a long period of time gets pretty hot, though, and an eleven month old baby has pretty tender skin.

I have an AEG competence 5020 B fan oven (single) which has a very noisey fan, does this need a new motor and can I fix this myself?

ISOLATE THE MAINS POWER BEFORE OPENING THE REAR OF THE OVEN.
Remove the oven, open the back, remove the fan, and clean with WD40, afer the fan is dry, fit the fan back into the housing, replace back and put into cabinet, switch on low, if the fan makes a whirring noise, or unusual squeeking replace the fan, if however the fan sounds normal and good pressure when door is open, it should be okay. If you require a part go to whitegoods.co.uk
Hope this is helpful

Indesit FIE 56 K.B GB oven The circulation fan is squeeking

The symptons you describe are typical of the fan motor bearings failing. you could try spraying the bearings with WD40, but this would only be a temporary solution, in the end you will probably have to replace the fan motor complete.
Hope this helps.

Replace broiler heating element Whirlpool builtin oven

do you want to know how to replace it? turn the power off first. open the door to the oven usually there are 2 screws that go to the broiler. unscrew them pull the heating element out remove the wires, make sure you pull them out far enough or you will loose them in the back of the oven. plug the new one in screw in the screws and you are good to go. let me know if this helps
