Maytag MGD 9700SQ. When I press start, the sensoring light clicks on and that's it. I've cleaned out the lint, cleaned the sensors with alcohol. Will clean the vent, but it seems like a basic fix....

Hi Jamie: After checking all of this and if it still dont work you will need to put in a new control board.

Plug cord into live electrical outlet. Check for proper voltage.
Check fuse or reset circuit breaker.
Push any key to turn ON the clothes washer and press the Rotary Cycle Selector knob to start the clothes washer.
Close door and push the Rotary Cycle Selector knob to start the clothes washer.
Check to see if the clothes washer is in a pause, soak or suds period in the cycle. Wait briefly and it may start. If washer is in suds period, SU and DS will display alternately, instead of the time remaining.
Check for restricted drain system. If there is an electrical problem in the drain system, ND error will occur after 15 minutes.
Check water supply.
Check the line screen and water valve screen.
Check for loose connections at machine control board terminal connections
Replace machine control board.

I have a siemens washing machine that says f21 what does that mean

Many thanks. For F21 fault everyone was talking about the drain valve but found one answer related to power supply n board this helped. Resetting by turning program switch to 12 o clock then turn to 6 o click then keep spin button pressed n move knob to 7 o clock position. Then release spin n move knob to 12 o clock. This way F21 got resetted.

WASHING MACHINE WONT DRAIN

1. check the drain knob if operational or functional. 2. remove the water and check the drain inside of your washing machine if something block it or dirt, like hair, or other small particles and if positive clean or remove it. 3. check also the filter if has then clean it also. 4.check outlet solenoid valve if has, maybe its defective and this is subject for replacement. 5.check the hose pipe drain if possible plug out to the washing machine, check it if clean or dent.

Machine wont fill with water.i have checked pipes and they are okay.if you turn program knob to the spin cycle it will try to enpty.also you can still open the door

Hi there....looking at the programe selector knob....you should see at three positions on the panel a black dot.....ok.......(1) close the door of the machine and switch on the power....(2) turn the programe knob to any one of the dot positions....(2) push the start button....a red indicator lamp should flash 3times and then remain steady indicating the program has been cancelled....(3) Now select a new wash program and push the start button....machine should operate ok....If not check the drain pump to ensure it is not blocked...or wiring loose ...or burned out....if this is ok...then your most likley looking at a module failure...

Apr 27, 2009 | General Electric Dishwasher Timer

I installed according to guide, but dishwasher will not fill with water. Pump sounds much too loud to be normal. Wiring was checked three times for correct connections. Water supply was checked twice for...

you state the water supply is on.
Have you loosened the compression nut at the dishwasher ell to see if you have pressure to the water inlet to the dishwasher?
Remember the dishwasher will always run a little to make sure any residual water from the last load is out of the bottom, so you could here the pump run a minute or so with no water coming in.
If you have Pressure to the water inlet and no water coming in regardless of the cycle/ timer position, it is most likely a bad electrical connection or switch at the water pressure actuator which is were the compression drop ell connects to the dishwasher.
This is the one and only actuator to let the water in to the dishwasher.
So it could be one of or combination of five things: no pressure to actuator, the electrical connection the actuator is loose or bad, the actual actuator is bad or timer timer is bad.
Most likely it is a loose electrical connection or lack of pressure to the actuator

Program knob on GE washing machine not functioning

Older washing machines had a 2 position knob push or pull to set and the other position to run, also if the timer is bad it can be replaced the parts are still available on the Internet.

Saeco royal cappuchino ventilate

Alternatively, try draining the machine. Page 37 of the user manual, Drainage. Place cup under the steam/hot water tube, turn knob clockwise around to 9. If the pump is ok, it will start automatically and start filling the cup. Drain about 1/2 cup of hot water and return knob counterclockwise to start position. If the flow meter is not damaged, the Ventilate message should be gone.
