Question about Apple iPod nano

ITunes won't reconize my iPod

I looked on the site for the solution but I don't understand it. I have a Mac 10.4.10. The ipod is seen on the desk top but not in the iTunes. The site says Mac OS X 10.4.x
Perform an archive installation of Mac OS X10.4. I have no idea what that is. Help?????

You may have a non-Apple product. There are lots of knockoffs of the Nano. Here is a link to check: http://reviews.ebay.com/FAKE-Apple-iPod-Nano-and-iPod-Shuffle-Exposed_W0QQugidZ10000000001518511

Itouch not reconized

1. Try another USB cord or USB cable.
2. Restrart your computer for a try.
3. Reset or restore your iPod for a try, this way can fix many general iPod problems.
4. Update your iTunes to the latest version. Plug in your iPod, then in iTunes in the top left corner click help> run diagnostics. On the box that comes up, check the last two things. Click next and it should identify your iPod.
5. You may try this iPod transfer, it's a nice iTunes alternative that can help you upload music and video to iPod, I always use it to sync my iPod when my iTunes can't recognize my iPod, it's easy to use and works pretty well

How do i transfer my ipod music to my mac ?

font.f1 {font: 12.0px Helvetica} Thanks for asking your question with Fixya Support. I will be glad to assist you.

To transfer music from your iPod Nano, you need to first have iTunes installed on your Mac.

Then you need to have music in your iTunes library, whether you are importing the music from your favorite CDs into iTunes, or if you are purchasing music directly from the Apple iTunes Music store, it has to be in the iTunes library.

Once you have your desired music in your iTunes library, follow this link below, which will guide you into transferring music into your iPod.

I hope this helps.

Apple ipod nemo 8gb

you need the usb connection from the ipod to the usb port in the computer, then make sure that you have the latest version of itunes downloaded and installed (it is free, and has all of the drivers for your ipod). You can get it from here http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

then just add your music to itunes and sync the ipod with the music. Once itunes is installed, plug in you ipod and itunes will pick it up.

I hope this helps

Ipod touch

Hi,

Yes, Ipod touch can used with windows.

When the charge is very low an iPod is not reconized in iTunes right away. I would advise leaving it connected to the PC or Mac for a few minutes to charge it a little.

You can see the instructions on how to connct ipod with the computer

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1386?viewlocale=en_US

Good Luck.
