This is probably a simple limited memory issue, that there is no (or very little) RAM (random access memory) left available on the system left to function. If this is the case contact Nintendo for help (mentioned in instruction manual). This could also be a result of a corrupt data upload (update) in software that could be too much or too little of a file resulting in a software/ product crash. You would then need to contact Nintendo to get help with the problem, they may give you a new Wii or give you a refund (maybe...). This problem is common, if you get this problem fixed: wait for coming update for a safer update.
