Need emachines T3304 motherboard connection diagram

The eMachines T3304 Desktop PC uses an FIC K8MC51G motherboard.

First International Computers { Inc}

http://www.e4allupgraders.info/dir1/motherboards/socket754/fick8mc51g.shtml

http://support.gateway.com/s//MOTHERBD/FIC/105554/105554nv.shtml

Click on Product Views, then on - M-Front Panel Connector

The plastic front of your eMachines is the Front Panel.

The area of contact pins on the motherboard, that the wires from the Front Panel go to, is the Front Panel header.
Sometimes abbreviated as F_PANEL, or FP1.

Looking at the motherboard installed in the computer case, the Front Panel header is at the Bottom/Right.

http://support.gateway.com/s/MOTHERBD/FIC/105554/105554mvr4.shtml

The above link shows the pinout, of the Front Panel header.
(Note* The Front Panel header may not be Orange in color)

It is the Second header over from the bottom/right side.
The pins are numbered.

Starting on the TOP row, from the RIGHT side going towards the LEFT;
Pins 10, 8, 6, 4, and 2

Starting on the BOTTOM row, from the RIGHT side going towards the LEFT;
Pins 9, 7, 5, 3, and 1.

A) Pins 1 and 3 are for the HarDDrive Activity LED light.
The LED light that blinks when the harddrive is in use, or active.

Pin 1 is for the Positive ( + ) wire.
If the LED is dim when operating, switch the wires around.

B) Pins 5 and 7 are for a Reset switch (Button), IF a Reset switch is used.

C) Pin 9 is for 5 Volt power. I believe if memory serves, that it is ONLY used by the factory.

D) Pins 2 and 4 are for the Power On LED light.
Pin 2 is for the Positive wire. ( + )
If the Power On LED light is dim when the computer is on, switch the wires around.

E) Pins 6 and 8 are for the Power On switch.

F) Pin 10 is N/C. Not Connected.
(Note it states - Key
It shows you where the pins are. What order they should be by the missing pin)

The FIC K8MC51G motherboard;

1) Has a Socket 754 processor socket.
AMD processors fit in this processor socket,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socket_754

2) The motherboard chipset is an Nvidia C51.
It is part of the GeForce 6 series, and more specifically, the GeForce 6100 series,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GeForce_6_Series#GeForce_6100_and_6150_series_chip_specifications

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_Nvidia_graphics_processing_units#GeForce_6_.286xxx.29_series

Using this knowledge you can see what Processors are supported, and what Ram Memory is supported, (And how much)

AMD Sempron, or AMD Athlon 64 processors, with up to a 1000MHz Front Side Bus. (FSB) { That fit in a Socket 754 processor socket)

DDR Sdram ram memory that is 200MHz up to 400MHz.
(PC2100, or PC2700, {333MHz}, or PC3200)

{184-pins. 92 on each side}

OR,

DDR2 Sdram ram memory that is 400MegaHertz up to 1066MHz.
(PC2-3200, or PC2-4200/4300, or PC2-5300, or PC2-6400, or PC2-8500)

{240 pins. 120 on each side}

Your motherboard uses DDR Sdram. (184 pins. 92 on each side)

Maximum TOTAL Amount is 2GigaByte. (2GB)
Maximum Amount for EACH ram slot is 1GB.

3) Has one PCI-Express x16 slot for a PCI-Express graphics card.

The PCI-Express technology used for the motherboard is
PCI-Express 1.1

HOWEVER, you can use a PCI-Express graphics card that is based on the PCI-Express 2.0 technology.

PCI-Express 2.0 is Backward Compatible, with PCI-Express 1.1

You just will Not get the full capability of a PCI-Express 2.0 graphics card.
Will you notice? No

I Need the jumper settings for the fic k8mc51g motherboard from a emachines desktop computer. Putting the motherboard in a custom case.

There is a 4-Pin Speaker connector that is not used by Gateway on the motherboard (right beside) the CMOS jumper settings (Pins).
The clear CMOS settings jumper block is right beside the speaker pins. You can use this jumper block to clear the CMOS RAM, which is powered by the onboard real-time clock button cell battery.
Pin 3 is indicated by the markings on the board.
Settings: Pins 1 and 2 covered = Normal Operation Pins 2 and 3 covered = Clear CMOS enabled.crazyeyes746.jpg

Need wiring connection diagram for Power Switch to Motherboard for EMachine W2925 model. Wires were disconected accidentally while cleaning inside of tower

micha219, the eMachines W2925 desktop computer uses an FIC motherboard.
First International Computer { Inc }
The Model Number of the FIC motherboard is VC37.
FIC VC37.

Disregard the following if you are aware:
The plastic front of your computer is the Front Panel.
The area on the Motherboard that the cables (Wires) from the Front Panel connect to, is the Front Panel header.

Processor to the Top, Ram Memory slots to the Right, the Front panel header is in the Bottom Right corner.

It is a rectangular shape with two columns of pins.
The length goes up, and down on the motherboard.

The pins on the Right side of the Front Panel header are numbered Odd.
The pins on the Left side of the Front Panel header are numbered Even.

There are 4 pins on the Left side.
There are 5 pins on the Right side.

Starting at the Bottom on the Right side going Up;
Pins 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9.

Starting at the Bottom on the Left side going Up;
Pins 2, 4, 6, and 8.

A) Pins 2 and 4 are for the Power On LED light.
(If after connecting the LED light is dim, reverse the wires)

B) Pins 6 and 8 are for the Power On switch. (Power On button)

C) Pins 1 and 3 are for the HarDDrive Activity LED light.

D) Pins 5 and 7 are for the Reset switch. (Reset button. IF used)

Pin 9 is NC. Not connected

Schematic on hdd, and led connections

Open the link provided below. This is the manual for FIC AZ11, there is little to no differance with board AZ11E.
ftp://ftp.fic.com.tw/motherboard/manual/socketa/az11/
You will need Winzip to uncompress the file. Link to download Winzip; http://download.cnet.com/WinZip/3000-2250_4-10003164.html and you'll need to to install Adobe reader to view the manual. Link to Adobe; http://www.adobe.com/products/reader/
Open the manual to page 2-4. Front Panel Block Cable Connection. For motherboard layout see page 2-2.
Hope you find this helpful!
Cheers'

Hi Hasan007, download your manual for your FIC VC 11 at this link. http://taiwan.fic.com.tw/support/download.aspx?dl=motherboard%2fmanual%2fsocket478%2fvc11%2fvc11_a0_eng.zip&title=vc11_a0_eng.zip&info=manual

Your board is supported by the Intel chipset 845. Intel is supposed to include the intergrated PCI sound card driver for the, AC97 ICH2 audio controller along with the video controller. This link should get you to the AC97 driver.
ftp://ftp.fic.com.tw/motherboard/driver/1stUtilities_v1.0/AUDIO/SIGMATEL/

Started the ftp here, opening the first folder top of the page.
ftp://ftp.fic.com.tw/motherboard/driver/

Once you get the correct driver (Sigmatel/AC97), your sound should work.

Good Luck!
Mike
