Why is it blowing warm air?

U say the compressor fan is running. How about the compressor - is that running? Without the latter running there is no way you will ever get cold air!

Check for bad start cap/start relay.

AC blows warm air. 07 GMC Envoy 6 cyl. 4wd

You probably replace the wrong switch. I believe the high pressure switch is mounted in the back of the compressor. Pull the plug and jump it. If it works, replace the switch. I don't recommend you leave the jumper in the plug. If it the A/C pressure is to high, you could blow lines and such. Costing you a lot of money.

ON MY SUBZERO 550 MODEL, THE SECOND SWITCH ABOVE THE FRIDGE DOOR DOESN'T ACTIVATE THE FAN THAT IS CONNECTED TO IT. IS THIS THE FAN THAT BLOWS COLD AIR INTO THE FRIDGE OR IS IT A FAN FOR ANOTHER...

Hi again,

That fan is supposed to blow the air into the refrig. since ya bypassed the switch and the fan does not run i believe the fan is bad and it would need to be replaced .

The part number for that fan is 4200160

Now the bad news i have looked up on several online parts sites and they say the part is no longer available. While i usually recommend that you try to fix it yourself what you can do is call alocal service company and they could get a universal fan motor and match it to the exact application of your refrig.when trying to make a universal fan motor fit to a certain model its best that someone who is very familiar with it.

Hi!
A relay starts the compressor with a higher voltage and then quickly kicks out
It does a lot of clicking (trying to start over and over again)
If thats what is happening with yours
Its best for a tech to replace The relay but you can do it
Take your model number to your Local Appliance parts store they will have a diagram
showing you how to install the relay. Its called a hard start relay
I use part no ERP410 POWER START RELAY, CAPACITOR AND OVERLOAD all in one. (110 v)

I have a 2000 pontiac grand prix with a digital climate control system. The heat quit working, it doesn't blow out any heat. Now that it is warm outside the air stopped blowing out any air. The digital temperature on the climate control is not correct. When it states that it is below 30 degrees on the ext and it is warm outside the air wont be cold. Once it starts going above 30 degrees the air gets colder. Today the blower stop working all together. Was told it maybe the climate control unit was bad. You can hear the door opening/shutting when you switch the temp from cold to hot. But there was no heat blowing out whatsoever in the winter time. Could you please give me your opinion on whether or not it is the climate control unit or something else?

Side by Side GE Refrig/Freezer is blowing hot air out of the bottom - is this normal?

If your refrig is 10 yrs old or les , then yes , this is normal . It pulls air in from the back over the condensor coils then compressor and out thru the front . The refrig should be 3-4 inches from the wall so it can pull fresh air thru . If any closer , the hotter the air will be causing the coils and compressor to be hotter than designed for therefore causing less life for the refrig . The WARM air is good meaning the refrig is cooling properly .

Your refrig light switch does control the freezer fan and the refrig light bulb . Replace the refrig light switch .
Open the refrig door , freezer fan goes off and the refrig light comes on .

The fridge is 4 the freezer is 4 the problem is fridge warm

Can you hear a fan motor blowing or feel air blowing in the freezer section? I'm thinking this fan has quit running and is not distributing air to the refrig section. If this fan is running then check that you can feel air blowing out of the vent at the top of the refig section if not check that the damper is open. you can do this by removing the grill on the vent (it just snaps out) as warm as the refrig is this should be wide open.
The fan os the most likely and most commonly seen problem for me. the part number is 12002744 and is approx 40 dollars. this is a fairly easy fix if your mechanicly inclined. if you call a service company you will be looking at 150-250 depending on the company.
If you have any further questions leave me a comment here thanks Peyton
