What size a/c ? will assume under 10,000 btu if cb blows on fan only and fan not turning assume fan problem caps will let fan hum like trying to start but a 15a seems low for a window unit also anything else on circuit best way to determine is use an amp probe to see how many amps are being drawn if amps peg meter on start a winding or short in motor

Cleaning my split system

We recommend you get it serviced regularly by an air conditioning company.

You need to spray anti bacterial spray and change the filters to service your air con.

Split type aircon

It sounds to me that the air con is on auto fan, as the room gets hotter or colder the fan will slow down and stop. keep the fan on low,med or high fan speed

Air con dead

Larger split system air con gets power from the external unit while smaller air con gets power from the internal unit. Can you find any power switch or power socket/plug around the external or internal units?

I have a fac106p1 eng2, overheating fan motor

first check the capacitor measure, see if measurement correspond with its label ex. 40 mf or 50 mf. I believe the winding for the fan motor are loosing its insulation, you might need to replace the fan motor, if installing new one follow the diagram and rotation their is an arrow indicating the rotation of the fan blade

New split system blows only hot air

Assuming it is brand new, are you certain that the compressor does not run at all or is it simply not pumping? Even being new, it is possible that the main compressor capacitor is faulty, this is on the top of the outdoor unit, replace and check.

LG C12AWR Air conditioner head fan not working

Check that the fanmotor can spin freely. If not, can be caused by seized bearing on left side of fanblade, or foreign object, insect nest stuck in fanblade. If however it spins freely, check that fanmotor is being supplied with voltage (you sound technically capable of operating a volt meter). If power is supplied, fanmotor is faulty and needs replacing. If no voltage, problem lies with the pc board. If you know someone who is capable let them check the relays on the board. Also you can check that all plug on connectors are making good connection.
