Why haier freezer is beeping

Either way if you had the doors opened a lot, it should like you probably have frost build up preventing proper air flow. You'd need to pull everything out of the freezer and remove the lower back panel inside the freezer. If there is frost build up, you'll need to use a hair dryer to thaw all the frost out. The unit will continue to beep until the set temperature (0 and 38) are reached so that could take a while even after thawing out all the frost build up.

If removing panels sounds like more than you can handle, you can always unplug the unit for 24 hours and leave the doors open to allow the unit to defrost on it's own.

The freezer does not freeze anymore

Hello Rina;
My name is Peter. I am a retired field service technician.
You need to provide more information.
Upright freezers are very simple.
There is a label on the side wall witch has your model number on it.
1.) Locked in the defrost mode - If nothing is running except for the light being on then you are locked into defrost. Your defrost timer is in the back behind a metal plate. With a large flat head screw driver slowly turn the shaft clockwise one click at a time to turn the freezer on. If it turns on this component will have to be replaced.

25676024-2tl4mzw4ix4qkonroxm2e5ag-2-0.jpg Cost: $20.00

2.) Is your freezer cool? You may have a frozen drain and cooling coil. Un plug your freezer and leave the door open for 24 hours. After several hours check to see if you have water build up in the bottom of the freezer. If so, you are going to need to keep soaking up water unit there is no more.

3.) Can you hear the cooling fan running? These fans are $35-65.00.

4.) You may have a bad thermostat, bad defrost heater, or a refrigerant obstruction.

I need more information from you to determine the problem and the model number.

ICE BUILDS UP IN LIEBHERR FREEZER

Needs a new defrost timer. If ice builds up then you are not defrosting. If you are not defrosting then the t-stat will read the ice and think it is down to temp and shut off.

Freezer model EV171NYMS04 we have ice build up on

There is a drain the back of the freezer that is frozen. Your trickle of water comes from the ice that melts off of the refrigeration coils during the defrost cycle. You need to turn off the freezer, then remove the rear cover from the back wall to expose the coils. With a hair dryer, melt all of the ice. You will find a drain under the coils. Melts all of the ice in this drain so water can get out of the freezer. When this drain is clear, you can put everything back together, and your freezer should work normally.

How do i make a freezer? I am want to make a glass box with a freezer inside. should i reuse parts of a mini freezer? if so, how?

If you are attempting to make a freezer that will actually function with all glass panels, then you are going to be sadly disappointed. Not only will the freezer not make nor hold temp due to lack of insulation and heat gain, but the glass panels will most likely crack under the extreme temperature differences.

I am going to assume you are building a freezer as a training aid or something along these lines. If so, I would recommend using Plexiglas vs. real glass.

I would also look to a local restaurant that is getting rid of an old small reach-in cooler or freezer. I would then take the components out of the donor and install them into the new project.

Hope this gets you going. Good luck with it.
