My aquos colors have gone wrong.

The colors are quite green/yellow so that all faces appear to be martian and the color correction cannot bring back the colors to their proper skin tones.

I have tried turning off and unplugging the unit to reset the TV to the factory settings but this did not work.

Any other fix that people may suggest?

I have no red color. The picture is in green/gold tone. I've tried powering off the TV, cable box, as well as adjusting & resetting color to factory settings with no luck.

My 32" Aquos has the same problem, called Sharp they suggested getting better cables instead of the cheap green, blue, red, ones that come with the direct tv. I have reset mine to the factory presets and we still have the problem. Got an extended warranty that said I must send the screen (only) out to Texas, no way!! They sent me a prepaid box and shipping label and said I must ship it or pay for the shipping anyway. My husband said if I send it I'm crazy. Well no dought about that, anyway, I'm glad I am not crazy about seeing these colors on my tv.

I had the same problem arise with my Sharp Aquos... I came online last night once the problem occurred to find out if anyone had a solution... Nothing came up, and I was worried. Decided I would think more clearly in the morning and it worked!!! It struck me, I decided to " change the audio/video cables to a different port on the back panel. Example my satellite feed was connected into port 2 ( Input 2) and I was having color problems, I simply switched them over to port 3 ( input 3) and everything is fine. Try this if you have any extra ports available.

Very blurry picture / vertical colour lines

It sounds that the LVDS cable; the cable that connects to T'Con board to LCD panel is loosely fitted. Check it first. If it is found OK, the panel itself should be suspected. Hi well when this happens it maybe due to quite a few reasons unfortunately. It can be a bad PSU, a bad, color engine or indeed one of a myriad of things that can cause this. One simply MUST perform the troubleshooting steps to isolate and locate the fault. To do this, at least, one needs a service manual, accordingly please find the links above to download a copy if you want to DIY?
However imhpo, the very best thing you can do to effect a repair is to contact a local or head office from Sharp, and ask them for a referral to an authorised service center, now make contact here and either ask for a service call or take the unit in, in any event when face to face ONLY ask first for a "Quote" as to what's wrong and prospective costings and go from there.
imhpo In My Professional Humble Opinion.

I find the colour contrast is very dark could you send me ideal colour settings for perfect clarity thanks

Hello
Adjust the contrast to 55 to 70%; brightness to 45 to 55% and colour to your viewing taste. Now the brightness will be very low I thinks. Advance the brightness and contrast after setiing the colour to Zero. Adjust for a well defined B/W picture first. The advance the coulour. Take reference of the face colour of a news reader at studio. The picture will be perfect. OK.

You can try using your flash to provide enough light so that your shutter speed is fast enough to help prevent motion blur and blur from not being able to hold the camera still enough to get a sharp picture.
Also depends on what shooting mode you and your friend was using and what lens, ISO, fstop was used.
Good Luck!

If parts of the person's face are in focus, and others are not, it is because your depth-of-field is too shallow. This is controlled by the aperture of the lens.
Use the "A" mode on your camera, for aperture priority, and set the aperture to f/5.6 or f/8. This will make the person's face completely sharp. You will, however, lose some of the blur in the background.
Also, be careful not to move the camera after focusing.
Happy shooting!

Apitek 1.3 Images are blur at faces

Sounds like an autofocus issue. Either the camera is malfunctioning, or it just may be seeing something else it thinks it should be focusing on. Pictures thru glass often focus on the glass even tho we look thru it, watch for reflecions. Anything between you and the person may throw the focus off, like taking a picture of someone thruogh a doorway. If the face is off to the side the camera may be focusing on the center. If your camera has a two-click snap button, try holding only the first click and see what it focuses on.
