I cannot access my fb account as it says it is temporarily unavailable due to a site issue...Please help!! not happy

The Facebook site occasionally blocks access for certain chunks of users temporarily so that the staff can carry out routine maintenance procedures and software updates on those accounts.

These lockout periods are normal and can last anywhere from a few hours to a day or two.

Just try again tomorrow.

Be patient and good luck.

Yeah
Are you facing these sorts of problems while accessing your Facebook account? Here is a solution to this problem. As the text in the error message states that your Facebook account is temporarily unavailable, it may be because of because of some maintenance work being done by Facebook or the bandwidth the problem. In either of the cases your account should be active and running within an hour or less. However in case that, your folks are able to access there account and you are still stuck behind with these error message while accessing your account. Then try clearing the the cache history of your browser to solve this problem.
You friends may be able to access the site because they are on a different server. Or somehow accessing the site through a different server because of their browser, ie ) try using google crhome or firefox instead of explorer or vice versa

Hi,

Site Maintenance message usually means that Facebook is making an improvement to the database and after the maintenance is over, you will be able to login to your account without any problem.

Usually, this maintenance process takes just a few hours and affects only few users at a time.

If your "maintenance error" lasts longer than 24 hours and you are still unable to login to your account, kindly report the issue to Facebook support by clicking this link.

Hope this solves your problem. Thanks for using FixYa.

ACCOUNT TEMPORARILY UNAVILABEL

I would like to inform you that facebook is currently accessible and available. It would be best for you to try accessing your facebook account on another computer that is connected to a different network to make sure that this is not a network issue.

Thank you!
