I brought a textbook online along with a student CD-ROM to download to my PC. There's no instructions on how to download the disc. When i put it in, it runs the license.exe and show files. thats it. The name of the textbook is Keyboarding and Formatting ISBN:9780538729802. and the ISBN on the disc is 9780538974639. Please help me sombody!!
There's usually an install.exe or setup.exe or something similar. Sometimes it's in a subfolder on the CD. Are there any other EXEs besides the license.exe?
-bring up my computer -right click on the cd-rom drive -from the pop menu, select explore -with the list of files that appear, see if there is a file called install.exe or setup.exe, and double-click on it.

I'm having trouble getting my Verizon MyFi card to configure on my Dell PC w/ XP or my Dell laptop with Vista. The files load--but it doesn't find it when you look for a connection. I've spent 1-1/2 hours with Verizon's tech support and the ppl at Verizon took my laptop to work with it today for several hours but couldn't find a solution. It must be a setting in my computer. They lowered the firewall on the compuer to load the drivers but that didn't work. They checked the administrator settings. They checked to see that the MyFi was being "seen" by the computer and even were able to install it on another computer so the card is good.
