Question about JVC AV-27530 27" TV
My screen is to dark. I can't see any night scenes
In my case, the adjustment was available from outside the TV. Sortof. On the rear of the TVabout 2 inches to the right of the coax in, there are two vertical slits on a little protrusion. Inside the slits are the two adjustment screws. The lower screw adjusts brightness, the upper screw adjusts focus.

Access Service Menu by pressing "sleep" button, then pressing "video status" and "display" together. Highlight "LOW LIGHT" , select it, and bump it up a little; going up to 80 did the trick on my TV. Exit service menu with "exit" button. Easy 20 second fix!
