If unit is less than a year old . call for service 1-888-203-1389. this unit has a one yr. warranty from the manufacture. recalls are usually not given on appliances unless it is a safety issue. however i have repaired alot of these under warranty for your same complaint. their is a splash kit u can get that goes on each corner of the bottom of the inside of dishwasher that will stop it from leaking, roughly 10-20.00 dollars depending on who u purchase it from .hope this helps out.

My child lock on my Frigidaire is constantly beeping... The door is not locked but it is beeping...

Hello Shelley, thank you for your inquiry!

I understand your Frigidaire is constantly beeping while they door is unlock, however do you have a range or microwave Frigidaire appliance? The serial tag for a range, which lists your model number, is typically located in the storage drawer, on the right side and the serial tag for a microwave is in the lower left corner as you open the door. With this information I can better address the issue at hand. Thank you!

Hi,

the round plastic cover in the base should just push back on, but you need to make sure it is correctly rotated before doing so. It should look like this:

belectric_17.jpg

There are many reasons why the dishwasher isn't washing properly and it would take a long time to list them all. I would advise you to consult the troubleshooting guide in your user manual to solve this problem. If you don't have a user manual, you can download one free from here:

http://manuals.frigidaire.com/prodinfo_pdf/Kinston/154590801en.pdf

The troubleshooting guide starts on page 9. Once you have opened the manual, you can print it or save it to your PC by clicking on "File" in the top left corner of your browser, then choose "Print" or "Save As...". If you are unable to open the file, you may also need to download Adobe Reader:

Hope this helps

Model # FDB1100RHB2 Dishwasher The dishwasher, since the installation just one month ago, has leaked continually (requiring a drip pan be placed beneath the door) from the lower left hand corner of the...

The door bottom is actually NOT sealed. Look into the levelness of the unit, and that you are using the correct soap. Both can cause water to leak by the door.

Look closely at the door alignment and make sure is did not get damaged along the way..

Can't find the model number on Frigidaire dishwasher

The nomenclature should be located on the left side on the inside of the tub right by the front when you open the door. It is most likely an fdb series example fdb1050. however the drain hose pn 154606701 is the factory replacement for most frigidaire dishwashers ten years or less.

Purchased a used Monogram Dishwasher/no factory info was included

First, here are some tips to help with your model number: look for an aluminum tag--or a silver or white adhesive label. The model number may be printed or stamped onto the tag and it may be written in two different type sizes or styles. You might find the tag in one of these places:
  • Inside the door jamb, to the left, right, or top
  • On the door, to the left, right or top

Dishwasher Non functioning

Disconnect power immediately! Several brands of dishwashers have had safety recalls over the past few years with bad switches or the rinse aid liquid leaking inside doors or inner insulation reacting with the wirering's insulation, in some cases causing fires. If you google dishwasher recall you will see GE, Maytag, Whirlpool/ Kenmore...... When you search or enter model numbers make sure you use complete model and serial numbers. If you leave off a letter or get one wrong the sites might tell you your model is not involved in the recall. I wish I was on my work computer now,... I'd include some photos of dishwashers which I serviced which did burn. Please leave a comment with your model and serial number.

My dishwasher is leaking at the bottom corners of the door

Mine is doing the same thing and I just bought it three days ago.  I call the store's tech department and they tell me the unit I bought has a service bulletin on regarding leaking at the bottom of the door.  They apparently have a repair kit for the problem.

Frigidaire Dishwasher Leaking

I just found a service release number for my Frigidaire dishwasher that says it applies to Serial numbers TH632 through serial number TH737 made in 2007 for a replacement kit for the door seal at the bottom of the door. The bottom door seal has been changed, adding side seals that restrict the water surge from the center spray arm. The part number for the new seal is p/n 154588201. This seal can be replaced without removing the dishwasher or either of the door panels.
The seal is located on the bottom of the inner door panel and appears as a cream colored flexible
rubber blade bonded to a milky white colored plastic strip. To remove and properly install
replacement follow the instructions carefully.
1. Replacing this seal can be accomplished without disconnecting power from the unit.
Always use extra care when electrical power is present while serving an appliance.
2. Open door all the way down and remove lower rack. Set rack aside to a safe location.
3. Locate the seal on the bottom of inner door panel. Facing front of unit, the right side of the
seal can be pulled down slightly to facilitate removal.
4. Pull seal straight into the tub from right side.
5. With seal removed, and before installing replacement seal, locate the channel in inner door
panel that the seal mounts into. Locating this channel before installing the replacement can
make this procedure easier.

6. Place the new seal on a flat surface and measure from the bottom of the seal, (See Figure
1 to determine bottom of seal), up 3/8 "of an inch and place a mark with a pen or marker on
both ends (See Figure 2). If needed, scribe a straight line between these two marks this
will give you a guide when installing seal into the inner door panel.
7. The seal can only be installed one way. The end that holds this seal into the inner door
panel has a ½ inch notch cut in the right side. This notch allows the seal to be installed
around the end of the inner door channel that holds the seal.
8. Line up the seal along the bottom of the inner door panel and start from the right side, push
the seal into the door channel to the line marked in step #6.
9. With seal in place close the door, the tub will align the seal as needed.
10. Reinstall lower rack and operate unit to check for leaks.
If leaks continue to occur at the bottom corners, order Splash shield kit 154701001 for
dishwasher.

Before installing the kit remove and reinstall the lower door seal. To install the lower seal make
sure you measure up from the bottom of the seal 3/8 of an inch and mark the seal, do this on
both ends. This locates how far down the seal needs to be before closing the door. Do not
install this seal without measuring it first. After the lower door seal has been re-installed then
install the splash shields according to the instructions accompanying with the kit.
