Depending on the notebook and the equipment in it. It appears from the documentation that the router 327w supports bands b, g, g+. If your laptop supports any one of those or you purchased an add-on unit capable of communicating on any one of those bands you have the right equipment.

Assuming you already have the router working with the internet you are one step ahead. There is a chance you laptop will work with your router without configuration change. However, I would consider at least one configuration change -- explore WEP or WPA_PSK TKIP encryption to avoid having your neighbors or people on the street on your wireless network accessing any open file shares, etc. The other is to assign an administrative password to your router if you have not done so yet. Third -- keep notes in a secure location about the configuration just in case you forget the administrative password and need to reset and completely reconfigure the wireless router.

You can order pretty much any PCMCIA Wireless network adapter. If the machine is older, you may want to try the "802.11g" or "802.11n" wireless notebook network card.
Try Belkin F5D7010, it uses the "g" signal band.

Well, you'll need a wireless router for starters (if you don't already have one). I'd recommend a Linksys wireless router. This will broadcast your internet throughout your house. Make sure to secure it, otherwise neighbors can jump on your wireless. As far as the printer goes, it really depends what your going to be printing. If you need a photo printer, get one that prints great quality images. Thats really up to what you need it for though, a sales associate can answers those questions in person.

When we use the wireless house phone all comps using wireless internet loose connection from the router

Sometimes there is jamming in the wireless signals...try keeping the router away from the wireless phone (not the reciever - the main part).

Hi there wondered if u cud help

first go to dos prompt and type in "ipconfig".
does it say that your "gateway" is 192.168.2.1 ?
if it doesn't, copy and past the new gateway IP to your IE (you might need ID/Pass to get into it)
