Question about Cameras

2 Answers

I purchased this camera about a month ago to prepare for my trip to Egypt. The pictures come out nice, but when I recorded a video, I can hear a sound like someone is walking on a squeky floor. Also, if I use the zoom while using video, I sound is also heard a lot louder. How can I record video shots without having the background noise? Hurry! I will be leaving soon. It's a FUJIFILM S1500 camera.

Covering the mic with tape only muffles those talking. It sounds internal. It's a FUJIFILM S1500 camera.

Default setting? I never changed it. I just put in the SD card and the batteries and kept it on automatic. Is there something else I should have done?

No that didn't work either. I keep the camera as still as possible when recording, but yet there is still a squeaking noise (almost like an old rocker). Could this model (FUJI S1500) possibly have a flaw? I am really concerned because I won't be able to use the video capture.

Thanks. I'm going to print out this conversation and return it to Radio Shack. I will order another and test it in the store before walking out of the door.

    Much appreciated.

I had a problem with artifact sounds when using the video mode. After about 30 minutes, I got the solution to the problem because the agent researched more about my problem through the history files, and voila! It's a factory glitch.

I will be traveling to Egypt in a month with a kodak easyshare m522, what will i need to purchase to charge this overseas?

In Egypt, they are using 220 V; Plug C. If your charger is using 220 V then you don't need to bring anything. You will need a voltage converter and plug adapter in order to use 110V chargers.

Red power light flashes twice and unit will not record. I will not play a tape, none of the tape keys work (rewind, fordward, or pause, etc). I do get a picture in both the vcr and camera mode but the tape...

That is caused by leaking capacitors. Not a lot the layman can do about it except purchase a new camcorder or send it to Panasonic for repair, if not obsolete.

Cannot Record Videos

I would try changing the memorised info that you put into your My1 settings and see if that helps. I just got my V700 today and the first thing I did was put my preferences into My1. I don't really know why your camera is transferring this to your video setting but try removing your presettings in My1.

Urgent - pal ntsc

Pal and NTSC are different formats. If you live in Canada, you?re TV most likely supports NTSC and not PAL. If you bought your TV and it said it is multisystem, so you won?t have problems with if, but i am almost sure this is not you case. If you want it for your PC, you will need to get a program to change your videos from PAL to NTSC. What I would recommend you to do is to buy a miltisystem camera; the format transformation isn't the easiest way. Daniel
