If not take back panel off and check the little white fuse and replace it, Almost all dryers are the same in that area.. Hope that helps....

It could be several other things thermal fuse, thermal cut out, hi limit thermostat, dryer coils, heat sensor,or igniter. All of these parts are inexpensive and easy to test and replace. Here is a video at this will walk you thru the troubleshooting a gas dryer. It may be a different model but the troubleshooting will be the same. You can also enter your model # for diagrams and illustrations. All parts come with installation instructions. I have a gas Kenmore dryer 80 series mod # 110.76862500. The dryer runs ducts are clean and it blows air but it doesn't heat up.

check the spark control ignitor and the moister sensor as well. if a click is not heard upon turning it on with the setting switched to high heat the ignitor is at fault

Dryer not heating

The following link explains how to diagnose and troubleshoot a dryer "no heat" problem:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r630242-dryer_runs_but_not_heat

Please read through the link I provided you thoroughly. There are several components that can cause a no heat problem. First and foremost, make sure you have the proper voltage at the electrical outlet. You should be reading 220-240VAC at the receptacle. If part of this voltage is missing, the dryer will still run, but will not heat. That is because the heating circuits require 220VAC to operate, but the drive motor only uses 110-120VAC. Let me know if you require further assistance. I hope this helps.

PS If you ask for further assistance, please provide your MODEL number (located on a nameplate around the door opening) as all dryers are not contructed the same. This can make a difference in where the components are located, and how to take the the dryer apart.

No Heat

Hi, I worked on one of these yesterday and have found that the thermal fuse blows first. If your dryer has the lint filter on top then the thermal fuse is behind the back panel and is located on the same duct as the lint filter. It will usually have blue wires on it instead of black or red.
