Question about Black & Decker Kitchen Appliances - Others

1 Answer

The mixing paddle is stuck in the pan. I and my husband have tried pulling it out. I've soaked it in boiling water and I wrapped a dishcloth under the edge to get a better grip and it won't come out.

Often you can remove a "C" clip on the bottom of the pan holding a driving bar and carefully drive the shaft out, paddle and all.

Once it is out paddle should be easier to work on.

Clean the bearing and re-lube with foodsafe grease and reassemble.

How do I get the kneeding blade out of the bread machine?

soak the paddle in soapy water overnight with enough water to keep the paddle submerged. The next day wiggle it back and forth while holding the litte ears underneathe the pan. Move it up and down too. If it still doesn't break free go to you tube and type "how to remove a stuck bread machine paddle" have your husband do that move, but don' use more than one jug of water because the TBR15 pan is thin and can bend. Be sure your husband uses hot pads to hold the pan edges so he doesn't hurt his fingers. If that method doesn't work you will have to live with a stuck paddle or order a new pan assembly and paddle and then always remember to remove to soak your paddle after baking and remove it from
the stem, clean, and store. Daryl,,, from breadmachineshelp.com

The kneading blade wont come out.Should it just pull off ?

Put a few inches of soapy water (enough to cover the padde and post) and let it soak for a couple of days. Pour it out and holding the paddle and the little impeller on the bottom of the pan start wiggling the paddle back and forth and pull, wiggle, pull, etc,...it should work lose if not go to you tube and type in "how to remove a stuck bread machine paddle" only if wiggling doesn't work...

My machine was in storage for awhile and the paddle will not come out or turn. If I take the pan out and turn the machine on, it works but with the pan in, it wont . It seems to be frozen. Is it possible...

Don't give up just yet. Pull the pan out and put a few inches of soapy warm water in it and let is soak over night. Try to wiggle it loose the next day. If that doesn't work then go to youtube and type the following in the search box: "How to Remove a Stuck Bread Machine Paddle"
You will see my short video there on what to do if soaking hasn't worked. Good luck, and let me know if either of these solutions work for you.

The paddle will not come out of the machine at all the bread is not rising properly and thought maybe if I clean the paddle but it will not come out and never did

put about 3-4 inches of soapy water in your pan (enough to cover the paddle) and let it soak for about 2 days and try to pull your paddle out with your fingers. If that doesn't work let me know ...and we'll try the method to get a seriously stuck paddle out. My video of how to do that is on youtube, but try soaking first.

The mixing blade is stuck in the tin . How do we get it out?

Try soaking it over night or even for a couple of days. Put just enough water in it to cover the paddle completely plus about an inch with a little detergent. Whatever you do don't try to pry it loose with anything metal because you will damage the nonstick coating on the paddle and/or the breadpan!!!..............If it still won't come out log on to you tube and type in "How do you remove a stuck bread machine paddle" ......you will see my video of how to remove a seriously stuck bread paddle with no damage to your pan or paddle.

My breadmaker does not mix the ingredients when it is turned on.

Hi,
1) Take the bread pan out of the machine and put the paddle in it. See if you can spin the paddle by hand. If you can...good. If you can't then the sealed bearing is frozen or broken. Try filling the pan with warm water and let it soak. If after a few times if you still can't move the paddle then the sealed bearing is broken requiring a new pan. 2) Keep the pan out and start a kneading cycle. Look trough the window on the lid. If the motor shaft does not turn then the belt fell off or has snapped. Good Luck..Hank

Mixing paddle won't turn.

Hi,
The mixing paddle is supposed to turn by means of a lubricated bearing. This bearing is broken or stuck so the blade will not turn.

Try soaking it overnight in soapy water. If that does not work it's time for a replacement pan if you can find one.

New bread man tr875 won't mix just clicks

I had that problem once, I made the mistake of putting in honey in the bottom of the pan BEFORE I put in the grain. It got into the paddle area and got hard and the paddle was stuck. I poured boiling water into that area several times, and it melted the honey and solved the problem. Not saying this is your problem, but it could be.

Flat blade stuck on KA stand mixer

Using one of the bowls, filled it with hot water up to the shaft and where the paddle is hooked up. Using a cotton cloth, wrap it around the paddle and shaft, let it soak for 30 to 40 min. After 30 min, twist the paddle back and forth to loosen up whatever got stuck inside the shaft and paddle. Put a little of mineral oil so that the paddle will be easily remove and it will just slide out from the shaft.

sorry no luck with a free online manual but if you don't mind paying then you could get a manual here. http://stores.ebay.com/The-Breadmaker-Guru_Toastmaster-Breadmaker-Manuals_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZQ2d1QQfsubZ6704557QQftidZ2QQtZkm Best I can think of for removing the dough bade is to pour boiling water on it, leave it to soak for a bit then empty the water out and try and pull it off while hot (gloves).if no luck then try doing the same with iced water with some ice to try and cool it down really quickly. Hope this helps :)
