Question about Tomtom GO 910
I need the electrical specification and ideally the manufacturer of the LED driver inductor L2 on the TomTom GO910 main PCB. It broke when I removed the GPS module.
Had exactly the same scenario. Must be a production flaw that L2 sticks to the GPS piggypacked board.
Looked into another TT and found a 100 (µH assumed) on the same spot for this backlight P/S. Took an old Vodaphone/Arcor DSL Modem apart and found three coils 101, 2R2 and 100 ......
The 100 is working fine - had to shift it aside by some jumper wires.
Light is on again.
