No actually laptop design are built-in graphics card, HP company provide only what is there in your laptop or any defective parts but replacing or upgrading such graphics card or VGA. I don't think so!
Unlike Desktop CPU are design for upgrading such parts inside.
Or unless you buy a new one laptop.
Hope this tip might help you.
Good luck!

No, the HP Pavilion dv6-1250us Notebook PC uses Integrated Graphics.

Another term for Integrated Graphics is Onboard Graphics. The GPU is
'Onboard', or On the Motherboard.

(GPU stands for Graphics Processing Unit. A GPU is a Integrated Circuit, or IC. It can be mounted directly on the motherboard, {Soldered to}, or mounted on a Graphics Adapter Card)

This is HP Support and the Manuals download page for the Pavilion dv6-1250us Notebook PC,

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/manualCategory?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=3979392&lang=en&

If you wish you can download the Maintenance and Service Guide. (It's really a Service Manual)

With this Maintenance and Service Guide you will have all specifications, part numbers, removal and replacement procedures, and other pertinent data for your laptop. (Illustrations also)

Scroll down to - HP Pavilion dv6 Entertainment PC - Maintenance and Service Guide (15th file listed down)

Left-click on it.
This is a PDF file. Your computer has Adobe Reader on it, which uses PDF files. After you click on it you may not see anything happening for up to 30 seconds. Be patient, as it is downloading. Most of the time after 10 seconds you will see the first page.
Let it download ALL the way before looking though it. You could accidentally break the download connection.

(I downloaded it just now. First page came up in 2.5 seconds. Complete download took 38 seconds. I have Adobe Reader 9, and a medium speed DSL connection)

Should you wish to save a copy to your computer, (So that you don't have to download in the future, and also so you can burn it off to CD disk for storage), you may want to do this:

After the PDF file has fully downloaded go up to the top header. Left-click on the Floppy Disk icon. This is the second icon from the left. If you hover your mouse icon over it, it will briefly reveal,
"Click to save this to your computer or another location"

After you have done so a small window will come up.
Save a copy...

Unless you want to look around for - c01758220.pdf, to find this file, I suggest this;

Down where you see the box to the left of - File name: , you will see c01758220.pdf, in the box.
Take your mouse cursor, and put it right after the f, in .pdf
Left-click once. Make one space with your spacebar. Type,
Pavilion dv6-1250us Service Manual

Now go below to the left, and click on Save

Page 2 describes the various GPU options for the laptop. You have one of the Four GPU's on your laptop. They are all Integrated Graphics options. There is no graphics adapter card for your laptop. This is common for most laptops.

The four GPU options are;

1.Nvidia GeForce 9200M GS with 512MB's of DDR2 graphics ram
(The GPU used is an Nvidia NB9M-GE)

2.ATI Mobility Radeon HD4650 with 1GB of DDR3 graphics ram.
(The GPU used is an ATI M96)

3.ATI Mobility Radeon HD4530 with 512MB of DDR3 graphics ram.
(The GPU used is an ATI M92)

4.Intel Extreme Graphics. Intel GMA 4700MHD

    You are most kind. Thank you and I appreciate your rating, and your additional Askers Testimonial.

    Apparently I do not know my Left from my Right!

    Should be;
    "Down where you see the box to the RIGHT of - File name:"

    Also,
    "Now go below to the RIGHT, and click on Save."

Can I ugrade ram and hardrive with Quanta 30D1 S1 motherboard please, If yes, by how much?

It has SATA drive and you can upgrade to any standard size, You might have a problem with the data cable.
It was an advanced laptop for the moment it was released in 2007 but obviously now it's rather old. Originally run with Windows Vista but I believe shouldn't have any problem with Windows 7. If you want to save yourself problems, don't upgrade it to windows 10!
I'm sure you can upgrade memory to 4 gb but don't have info if accepts more then 4 Gb

HP Pavillion m7755uk How can I upgrade the Graphic Board to a more powerful one for video editing and what PCI slot has it got is it a PCI or PCI-E connection on the motherboard

Hello,

Your Pavillion has 3 PCI slots and 1 PCI-E slot. I would recommend using the PCI-E slot as it is the fastest. Also, for editing I would go with a 1GB PCI-E card as this will give you 1GB of DEDICATED video memory. Once you have the card, it is as simple as putting the card in the PCI-E slot (The shorter slot of the four you will see) and powering the PC on.

Good Luck

Im looking for a upgrade of a graphics card for my hp pavillion s5212y.. any suggestions?

Do the research. I would go to www.hp.com and enter your model number in. It should tell you what kind of slots you have on your board. Then go out and buy the card. Do the reaserch first.

    I want to upgrade my graphics performance for hp pavilion dv6

    If this is laptop, In laptops the graphics cards are integrated meaning they are a part of the motherboard. There is no slot or place to put a card in, usually it is in a chip that is fused to the motherboard and the only way to get a new one is to replace the motherboard itself. Either try to play around with settings to get the most out of it or buy a new laptop. I would say upgrade your graphics drivers (nvidia website) and Direct X (microsoft website). Turn off all background tasks and services in your task bar when running games. And you can tweak the game settings within the games also, turn off shaders and keep screen resolution lower possibly.

    Need help to upgrade graphics card HP Pavillion a1150y

    Yes any graphics card will work just depends on the type of picture you want and if you play games. Since it is not factory built hard to tell what kind of PCI/AGP slots are available. To be safe take out the current card and put new one in same slot.

    Pls rate this solution.
