Question about Cyberhome DVR 1600 DVD Recorder
I have had a couple of these machines through my hands in the last year or so. The problem with these are the power supply units.
If you take the lid off the machine I'll bet that you will see electrolytic capacitors bulging at the top. You could try replacing them - it might cure the problem - one thing I have learned with these machines is they are not designed be repaired and made cheaply (quality does not seem to be the word here).
My advice to you is scrap it and get something that is more reliable.
