You will have to manually adjust the album artwork. You can do this by selecting the music you wish to change, clicking "Get Info" and clicking on the artwork frame. You will need to find the album cover off the internet and save it as a picture in your pictures folder.

I added a album to my photos from my computer to my itouch 8g (new version) and I'm not able to delete it. Can you help?

You can specify what photo albums to sync to your ipod. With your ipod connected to your computer, open itunes and select your ipod under the devices title in the sidebar.
Then, go to the photos tab and unselect the photo album you would like to remove from your ipod. Finally, click sync to save your settings and remove the unwanted photos.

Tip

Taking pictures on the cover of an album on an iPod Touch

Music files can be embedded with album art for display on MP3 players. Since most files have an album cover, this without them would be when a device likes the iPod Touch. Apple iTunes users can add or delete album covers. There is no way to change the album art through the device itself. The addition of cover, you have an easier time choosing the album from a list.

1. Open iTunes.

2. Go to your "Library".

3. Highlight the song or songs you want to add album art.

4. Right-click and choose a song "Get Info".

5. Select the "Artwork" tab. Here you can add or remove the album art embedded into the file or files. Add an image, click "Add" and navigate to the image of your choice to find. Click "OK" when finished.

6. When I turned on my itouch, all the icons and album covers and everything else are large. how do I fix this?

Do you mean your iPod touch's screen has zoomed in?
You need to zoom it out.
To do that, you have to double-tap with 3 fingers at the same time.
That should fix your problem.

My itouch will not advance songs. I have to

Hi,
Your music playback settings need to be looked into here. Follow these steps to determine and then get rid of the problem.
1. Open a song for playing. 2. Tap on the album art or the screen.
You should see the progress bar of the song along with 3 tap icons. The one on the left is for song playback. It is either repeat off (arrows are white), repeat all (arrows are blue) and repeat 1 song (arrows are blue and '1' appears on the icon)
3. Tap once to get out of repititive listening of the same song.
Also, I am assuming that you are not listening to a playlist with 1 song in it.
happy listening.

Itunes does not recognize my itouch please help

Okay well the only way you can resolve your problem is by taking your iPod to your local Apple store they should do a swap. Sounds like there is a firmware fault.

Is there a simple guide of how to use itouch, for example putting album covers on to go with the music

Give the following link a read through. It should do the trick.
http://manuals.info.apple.com/en/iPod_touch_Features_Guide.pdf

They also offer free classes at your local Apple store several times weekly. Check out apple.com for details.
Congrats on your new toy, and welcome to the force.

To add songs to iPod manually: step_1.gif Connect your iPod to your computer.
step_2.gif When the iPod icon appears in the iTunes window (under Devices), select it.
step_3.gif If the Summary pane is not showing, click the Summary tab.
step_4.gif Select "Manually manage music." (If you have an iPod that displays video, the checkbox says "Manually manage music and video.")
step_5.gif Click Music (below Library, on the left side of the iTunes window) and then drag songs and playlists to your iPod.
