Question about Linksys Wireless-G WRT54GS Router (e125894)
I have a netgear ds116 router and i want to set up a wrt54gs router off of one of the open ethernet ports on the netgear hub. when i connect the linksys router to the netgear hub I can't get data thru the router wireless router.
Here's what you can do. Don't connect the Linksys router yet to the hub. Connect 1 computer directly to the Linksys router. Access the router's setup page of the Linksys router thru http://192.168.1.1
It will prompt you for username and password. No username and password is admin.
Look for Local IP Address or LAN IP Address. Change the LAN or Local IP Address of the Linksys router to 192.168.5.1 then click on Save Settings at the bottom. Right after saving the settings, unplug the power of the Linksys router, connect it to the hub and it should be good to go.
