Problem for Sony Ericsson W760i Cellular Phone
Inactive SIM problem in Sony Ericsson w760i.
I have a Sony Ericsson w760i. I bought it second hand. After using it for few months the SIM card stop functioning. The screen all the time says "inactive SIM ". I tried resetting the phone and updating the software but nothing worked. Some says it is a problem with the SIM reader, some other says it is blocked by sattelite and it can only work in Asian countries. ( Though it has been working well in the country where I live ). What is the solution? Thank you for your help.

Hi mslsweden,
It does sound like the sim reader might be malfunctioning or the sim card could be worn.
in this case i would recommend you simply try another sim card with the same network before assuming its the sim card reader.
