Do you mouse work?
if you just change your batteries and your mouse work, just synchronise your keyboard with the receptor.
In the back of your keyboard, they are a small button; press it and press the small button in receptor to synchronise!

Keyboard Won't type nothing and I Just Putted New Batterys in The Keyboard, How do i make it type?

Try resetting the computer then hitting the connect button on the keyboard after the computer has started. Or unplug the keyboard and turn the comp on before plugging in the keyboard and hitting connect.

EeeTop all in one PC wireless keyboard and wireless mouse not working - bayyeries fresh and reset button already checked out

you must keep the batteries out for a few minutes and unplugged then re plug to a new usb port. hit the connect/ reset button on reciever alone with batteries still out of remote then put the new batteries in (lights come on remote you know you have good batteries) and then hit connect on that. that should work if not you must hit connect at the exact same time. thats how i fixed mine.

Wireless keyboard wont work!

Once the batteries are replaced, you need to "reconnect" your devices. Under the keyboard, there's a "Connect" button. Press it, then press the "Connect" button on the receiver that connects to your computer. That should get it going again.

My keyboard quit working, I put in new batteries and hit the reset button. still does not work mouse works great

Usually u need to synchronize the wireless devices u are trying to connect, and u do that by holding both the reset buttons simultaneously (the one on the keyboard and the one on the receptor - if it has any - ) on the devices for approximately 10 secs.

Hope it helps...

I just recently purchased the wireless keyboard and mouse. Thought I was following the instructions for installing them. The computer says they are installed properly, yet the keyboard won't work. Can't...

usually these have a tiny "Connect" Button on the bottom of the keyboard, mouse, and a button on the receiver. Have you followed the sync procedure with this ?

Is there another wireless device nearby that may be interfering ?

Is it one receiver for both devices ?

Does the mouse work ?

Have you tried a 2nd set of batteries on your keyboard ??

Hope this helps.

Keyboard stopped working

Hi there.
Firstly check the battery compartment for any leakage from the batteries while you was away, if there is leakage clean it off and reinsert the new batteries.
If there is no leakage insert the batteries.
Now, does your mouse have a docking station? I am guessing you have because it sounds like your keyboard is wireless.
There should be a connect button on the mouse docking station, if there is press it and hit the connect button on the keyboard and then hit the space bar, hopefully your problem will be solved.

Good luck and thanks for choosing FixYa!!

Logitech Wireless Keyboard not resetting evidently after installing new batts.

First make sure the batteries are put in with correct polarity. Although obvious, its surprising how many people make this mistake. (Happened to me too once :)

I am not sure what model you have, so please try the following:

Hope that helps! Should you have any further questions, please feel free to post them here.

P.S. – I would greatly appreciate a FixYa! rating if the solution I provided fixed or helped you resolve your problem.

Thank you for using FIXYA!

Cheers!

Microsoft wireless laser keyboard 6000 v2 - keys suddenly stopped/not working

i had the same problem, i checked the batteries with a DMM and the measured 1.4v i replaced the batteries with new and i still had the same problem. anyway i ended up taking the keyboard apart and found where the antenna is connected to a push on type connector alongside the pcb board inside the keyboard, the connection was slightly corroded. i cleaned it up and it is working fine know, even with the old batteries.

remove the batteries for 2 minutes. Try pressing the shift or ctrl button when typing. Could be they are soft-stuck.
