Question about NetGear Computers & Internet
Adapter says i am connected to the router. The signal is strong, but I cannot connect to the internet. but my computer says i am connected to the internet
Try to find out if you require a proxy adress or if you were on a proxy, remove the settings and let the browser automatically choose the correct settings. Hope this helps you out.

Tips for a great answer:
Had same problem - said signal weak although strong on other devices, and hung on authenticating.
Cordless phone on base unit was beside wireless router. Moved unit and turned off phone. Problem disappeared, and signal showed strong.
