How do I forward calls to an outside number on a panasonic kx-ta824 system. what is the line access code

- I tried your suggestion and the system picks line 6 which is not active. I have 4 lines on 1-4. should i just move the lines to 3-6Oct 12, 2009

Line access codes are the codes you dial from the intercom to get an outside line. 9 works.
Call forwarding to an outside line has to be enabled in system programming either 2.1 in the maintenance console or option 607 in system programming. There's also a timer that allows the CO connection to be maintaned. By default it's 10 minutes.
Once you get the program set up, you can dial 7139xxx-xxx-xxxx#
