Do you mean to save your progress of a GameCube game using the Wii, or do you mean to save the GameCube game onto the Wii so you don't have to put the disc in anymore?

How do you get the nitendo game cube to play on the wii

The Nintendo Wii already comes with everything needed to play GameCube. GameCube disks are loaded and unloaded from the system in the same way that Wii game disks are used. To play the games you are going to need a GameCube controller and a GameCube memory card to save progress. On the top of the system (if the system is vertical) or on the side (if it is laying down) are two flaps, one which opens to reveal the controller ports and the other reveals the slots for the memory cards. To play GameCube, simply select the top left square from the main menu (like you would for any Wii game), select start, and then use the GameCube controller to play the game.

Son accidentally cleared unlocked tracks and character on his mario kart license. is there a was to retrieve them w/o having to go through unlocking them again?

Im sorry but once its deleted its over .. but u can unlock all the progress by downloading a pre saved save game for example these save files: http://www.wiisave.com/?cid=197 ..... u put them on an SD card like this..(Root Sd)/private/wii/(the save)..

finally to transfer from Sd to wii :

On the home menu, go select "wii" and then "save data options." You'll see two tabs at the top: "Wii" and "SD card." You may have a third tab for a game cube memory card, but ignore that.

Select "SD card." You'll see all the wii data saved to the card as graphic images. Select any you wish, and it'll give you an option to either copy or erase the file. Select "copy," and it will copy that data onto the wii.

GAME CUBE MEMORY CARD stopped WORKing / reading IN Wii

has it gotten wet or has there been moisture in the air, usually when the memory cards stopp workin they have gotten moisture in them or condisation and when plugged in, they fry....if you smaell it and it has a slight smell to it, like kooled metal, it's been cooked, this can also be true if you went to pick it up and zapped it, the static shoch can also fry it, if non of this has occured, take a clean paintbrush or a dry q-tip and wipe the conectors of, they could be dirty and not have a good connection, try this and hopefully it saves your memory card...good luck.....shia

Two choices. One: If your console still has a warranty, send it in for repair. Two: Open up your Nintendo Wii Console and clean the lens of the disk drive with some rubbing alcohol and a q-tip. Then put the console back together.
