Question about Coby MP-C883 MP3 Player
It doesnt let me put songs from limewire or itunes because it says that it is write protected
i really dont wanna buy any songs
can you please help me on how to put songs or remove the write protection
please.....you would really help me
Write the songs to a CD (or a CDRW) first, then re-rip them to Windows Media Player/iTunes/whatever as mp3s, or unprotected WMAs.
Honestly it's easier to burn and re-rip than remove the copy protection. When you burn it to a CD, the DRM goes away, and you'll have a new file that actually plays on your player.

This unit only accepts MP3 or Unprotected WMA files. You have to have third part software to convert the audio files to MP3.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
