Question about Whirlpool Ultimate Care II LSQ9564J Top Load Washer
I just replaced the lid switch on my Kenmore washer 70 series. The new part I got #3949238 does not shut the water off when filling the washer up. The old part did have a clear tube on it which the new one does not and the guy at Sears said the new ones do not have the tube. Is this the problem?
Hello friend, The guy at sears is wrong. All replacement water pressure/level switches for your washer model 70 series MUST have the clear tube replaced on them or the washer will not work. Re-install the clear tube on the new part and your problem will be no more. Happy to help.
