My pc doesnt recognise my865 dvr

The fact of the matter is that your vivitar comes with software that works with your computer. Supposing that you have the normal windows operating system, then you should be able to have your camcorder recognised. You must have the Snap and Share video pro and Video Express that comes with it. On connecting you camcorder the computer should recognise it if it does not then the cable you are using could be the problem if you already changed the cable then the usb socket on the camcorder could be damaged. If your cable and camcorder socket are ok then you could use a USB card reader to transfer your video to the computer.

No your motherboard is doing just fine. you cannot install OS to your hard disk from another computer that don't have the same spects like yours, The program won't initialize properly, or like what you said it would freeze. The only way fro you to be able to install an OS to your computer is to buy an external usb cd/dvd. If you have one, then we can proceed, enter the bios setup by pressing the delete or f2 key. Then set your settings from boot option ( primary boot ) select or change it by pressing Pg Up or Pg Dn to boot from a usb cd/dvd rom press f10 to save your setting or select save and exit settings. Then press y and press enter. From there your system will automatically boot starting your OS installation setup. Have a nice day friend and i hope this would solve your problem.

It says it cant start or run do to incompatibility with 64 bit versions of windows....any way i can make my mission think game work? :/

The Learning Company Super Solver Mission T.H.I.N.K. was released in 1999 for Windows 3 and probably Windows 95/98. It could run under XP in the compatibility mode.

For a newer Windows OS, you need a workaround. You can use a a computer (virtual, dual-boot, or true second machine) with an older version of Windows installed. If you have Win7 Pro or Ultimate, you can create a virtual XP computer for free. Download and install Virtual PC and XP mode from Microsoft. Install them in order. Then install the XP software in the virtual computer using the compatibility mode and it should work. (Other virtual computer programs are Parallels and VMWare.) All of the other options will require a licensed version of the older Windows OS. If your computer has a USB keyboard and mouse, you will need to use Win98 or newer OS. (However, the drivers may be an issue with Win98.)

For the compatibility mode, right click on the installer and choose Properties. In the compatibility tab, check the box for Run as compatible with an older version of Windows. Then launch the program.

I hope this helps.

I have a Prosound guitar to USB cable but my PC does not recognize it.Can you help?

Solution #1 has misread the question. The question would be better worded: "I have a 1/4" to USB guitar cable manufactured (or marketed) by ProSound ...". This device should be recognised by Windows as a Plug 'n' Play device. There are no drivers to install. If Windows does not recognise the device, it might be a fault with the cable or Plug 'n' Play. If this a Maplin A54HZ cable, there is an LED at the USB end which lights when connected. My A54HZ was recgnised by XP Pro SP3 straight away and self installed.

You have half a dozen reasons why this will not work. The Operating system (XP) does not recognise the different hardware, the Bios doesn't recognise the MBR (the file structure of the harddrive) and you have all the wrong hardware drivers installed.
There is a way to do this if you have the original XP installation disk, install the harddrive, put the XP installation disk in the CD/DVD drive and set the machine to boot from the CD/DVD first. When the machine boots up and goes to install XP follow the instructions as if you are doing a fresh install, when SetUp attempts to format the harddrive it will discover you already have a version of XP installed and will give you the option to repair it, go ahead with the repair and MAYBE SetUp will be able to see and install the correct hardware drivers. If not you are looking at Slaving the harddrive, saving your personal files and then formatting the harddrive and reinstalling XP fresh.

Computer had a virus so i installed a kill disk and wiped the hard drive clean now it wont do anything im trying to install windows xp pro the computer s/n is cnh7280dh7

Hi,
Is your bios set to boot to the CD first?

You can download the 'windows xp setup disks' if you have a floppy drive on that computer
from here
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=E8FE6868-6E4F-471C-B455-BD5AFEE126D8&displaylang=en

or you can install an older version of windows that WILL run from DOS like win98, or winme, and then install your XP afterwards.

I hope this solves your problem, thank you, good luck.
