To turn the ringer off, select RINGER OFF. 3) When the phone sounds the ring tone and volume you wish to use, press [end].
**Temporarily Mute Ringer If the handset is off the base while an incoming call is ringing, simply press [end] to mute the incoming ring. The ringer will sound with the next incoming call. The do not disturb feature (DND) allows you to mute the ringer, the base, and any registered handsets at the same time. The phone must be in standby mode. Press and hold do not disturb on the base. You will hear a confirmation tone, and the DND LED illuminates. To cancel the DND feature, press do not disturb again. You can also mute the ringer tone while the phone is ringing by pressing do not disturb on the base. Activating the DND while the answering system is off will turn the answering system on automatically. The answering system setting will reset to the original setting when you cancel the DND. If you press answer on/off when the DND and the answering system is on, both of the DND and the answering system will turn off. To mute the ringer tone temporarily for each handset or the base, when the phone is ringing, press the MUTE soft key on the handset or the base. The ringer tone will return to the previous setting starting with the next incoming call.
firstly read the operations manual for that phone look on how to adjust the settings of your phone it probably sure was indicated there, because the way i see from what you posted it has no internal circuitry prob. it just needed an adjustment.. hope this advice helps... ;-)
Could be two things, first is DND or do not disturb. Make sure that its turned off by either pressing the DND button or feature #85.The second is that the ringing wasn't turned on in programming.

Enter extension number you wish to program ringing on. Press the show key (top right arrow) The display should sat LINE ACCESS Press the show key (top right arrow) . The display should say LINE ASSIGNMENT. Press the show key (top right arrow) . The display ask for a line number. press list The display should sat line 001: appear only press CHNG til it says appear &ring. press next key (lower right arrow) The display should say line 002: appear only Repeat same procedure as line 001 til all available lines are done press the release key when finished
On most of the phones you just keep pushing the volume down button untill it turns off. On some models there is a "Do not disturb" feature, usually it is a soft key feature so look on the LCD screen. Also, for the person that can't turn the ringer back on, just push the volume up key untill the ringer is at the level you like.
The primary phone sets the ring for all phones. If it is off, nothing will ring. Once it is on you may set the volume of the rings on all sets individually. If you have the manual, look under Ringer Off on the main set. Hope this helps, let me know
Your ringer has been switched off..to solve this press the menu button(mute in most of the sets)and press it until you see the option ringer press + to change it to off and then press menu again until you see the main screen...Thats all.. Let me know if it worked..
