HEATER lights with cover off goes out when i put cover on

That generally indicates that the filters need cleaning, as well as dust or dirt in the heater. Without the cover, it can breathe. With the cover on, it can't. If you can provide me with the Model Number of your Reddy Heater, I will send you a copy of the Owners Manual, if you need one.

My reddy heater isnt getting kerosene to the nozzle can anyone help?

From what you have said, it sounds like the nozzle is clogged . If you will send me the Model Number of your heater, I'll sent you a copy of the Owners Manual/Troubleshoot Guide, if you have misplaced yours.

Yellow flame how to adjust it

You need to adjust the air shutter control on the open end of the burner.
For more information on your Reddy Heater and how to service it go to www.desatech.com Look for the Owners Manuals section and enter the Model Number of your heater. You can then download and print the entire Owners Manual.

Hope this helps you. Please let me know.

I have a 50,000 btu reddy heater where can i get a manual for it or a copy of it ?

Reddy Heater was once made by DESA International. However, they are now out of business. But, depending on how all your heater is, the Owners Manual may still be available at www.desatech.com. You'll just need to do a little searching for it. When found, you can download and print.

I need a owners manual for my reddy heater 170t, how can I find one?

I think the actual model number for this is RL170AT

This is a DESA manual but the same exact model except for the name:

150,000 BTU propane Reddy Heater shuts off after ignition

Is there a frost line on your LP tank, if so you may need to replace the tank with a larger tank or refill your tank. This can happen if the tank your using is too low or too small (use 100 lb tank or greater). If there is no frost line it may be an issue with the thermocouple. The manufacturer offers a service manual and owner's manuals on there site. This should assist you... www.desatech.com Thank you
