the tube that runs directly from the pump into the boiler blew up at the "body expansion" valve. What does this mean?

There was an over load of pressure and the expansion valve could not open to relieve it. There must have be a major blockage. Descale machine more often. Replacement parts can be found from Rancilio North America.
